This bulkhead is threaded both the front and back. A MPT threaded fitting can be screwed in to either end of the bulkhead.

Comments: I bought this and a 3/4" heavy duty bulkhead. If I could do it again I would have gone for the heavy duty version...this one feels flimsy and you can over screw in the fittings, making for a leaky situation...if you have to use force near the fitting (say a ball valve) the torque to open or close the valve may cause the fitting to leak. I "fixed" this problem with some silicon...so...it's not a fatal problem...
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: very decent product accepts threaded screens and threaded pvc if you happen to bumb your pluming the seal in the bulkhead keeps water from leaving your tank
