Comments: I had heard a lot of good things about this product, so I decided to try it out and it is very simple to use and calculate dosage. The only thing was my Mg levels where low so which I found out can play havoc between Alkalinity and Calcium. So before you go crazy with dosing this product check your Magnesium level also. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have used several two part soulutions. I have found that B-ionic is taking less supplementing, thus saving product and in the long run money. Stability is there with less of a swing with my regiment. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have tried a number of methods to maintain calcium levels and this is the best yet. It is easy and reliable. Make sure you check your Magnesium levels. Low Mg levels will make it impossible to maintain calcium... I also use E.V.S. Magnesium which I also recommend and is balanced for this product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've used this A/B product for years but I usually buy the smaller bottles. This was the first time buying the largest size. I figure, I use it all the time, why not? Comments: The alkalinity buffer turns into a rock if you do not keep a lid on it. I also had the alkality harden inside my dosing tube stopping the flow completely to my reef. It is worth it to take the time to do the math on the powders. You will be amazed at the amount of money you will save over the long run when you could be buying more corals and gadgets instead. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: WOW. I'm not sure why I ever bothered with the little bottles because you get sooo much more for the price with the gallon jugs. Make sure you follow instructions and mix well. TEST TEST TEST you water to make sure you are dosing properly. I've used Kent's brand also and ESV gives very similar results. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I started using this product because of others that talked about it on various forums.  I have not had any issues keeping my Ca and Alk rock solid at all.The instructions are a little hard to understand, unlike SeaChem or other products.  ESV doesn't really give any guidelines other than 4ml per X amount of water, which was way to much for my tank, or pretty much any tank that is using a good salt mix.  I've had to adjust to an amount much lower than their amount.  Test kits are a must, but they always are. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I used to buy only the 32oz bottles of this until i realised it's much easier just to get 1 gallon jugs of both components and mix it up myself, B-ionic is the easiest method i've found for maintaining the correct calcium and alkalinity in the water collum Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The ESV Bionic works great. It keeps my Alk & Cal level, with no issues. Not only that, i stopped using all the extra stuff i was putting in my tank. Which actaully saved me money in the long run. My corals are looking great, and my fish are happy. The only draw back is that you have to add it everyday, but for the results you get. Comments: Quality product, I dose w/ Litermeter on a mixed 120 reef. Would highly recommend doing so. Used to have a Calcium reactor made by a German manufacter and the other by a well known hobbiest but both were inconsistent dripping rate over time (IME). Hated coming home from vacation to find them stopped. I haven't had any problems in almost a year, completely plug and play and this product is right on parameter wise. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: These 2 part calcium and alkalinity suppliments all work the same. As far as I know you can't go wrong with any of them. It's a nice alternative if you don't want the hassle of dosing with kalkwasser. This product comes concentrated, so you have to mix with purified water to make the full gallon, a minor hassle. My alkalinity portion came in partly frozen and had to be completely thawed. It's supposed to contain all trace elements needed (some probably in the form of impurities). I have thriving colonies of pumping xenia among other coral and have never added iodine or any other trace elements. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This stuff is absoulutly awsome. I have tried many other buffers including Purple up and all of the kent products. I never could get my calcium above 320 and alkalinity above 6. I have been using this stuff for 2 weeks and calcium is 400 and alkalinity is 9. This stuff works great and does not sky rocket you ph any more than 8.4. Only bad thing is this product does nothing for boosting strontium, magnesium or iodine which some other buffers do, so you might want to get a seperate buffer for those. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have been using E.S.V. B-Ionic Calcium Buffer for over two years and am very satisfied with it! Never seemed to interfere with anything in my 75 and 12gal tanks. Prolonges water quality between changing. I use it simultaneously with Carib Sea "aragaMight! Ocean Calcium" which also adds some other beneficial minerals. Both of them my corals LOVE. P.S. make sure that you have good, strong water movement or othervise your tank is going to get overcovered with coralline algae which othervise will need to be steel brushed or freshwater soaked (but the second one will kill your little residents who live inside the rock) for coral propagation. Although they give nice accent if kept under control. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product does work!! VERY clear instructions, bottle label has information and not fancy color pictures of pretty fish and inverts. Takes a while to raise the levels BUT if you do as they say it makes a HIGE difference to your levels. (mine always tend to be lower) Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've been using this product for at least 7 years. Tried some of the "other" comparables,they don't come close in quality. This product is right there everytime, and I don't have to worry about calcium reactors and all that. The 2 gal concentrate lasts me about 6 months for my 150 gal tank. Measure it up and dump it in once aday. That's all there is to it. What more can I say. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I saw +> growth in my purple algae after 2 weeks.Now, its everywhere. I like the product. I dose slightly below the amount specified and my calcium is 450ppm. Be aware that part one may precipitate for a moment but the precipitation will quickly go away after a minute. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I started using this product about a month ago after it was recommended to me by a friend. It has maintained my 90 gallon reef tank's calcium level and alkalinity level perfectly. I have been keeping salt water tanks for over 20 years and reef tanks for about 12 of those and I have never used a product that keeps calcium and alkalinity levels high as consistently as this. The only draw back is that you do have to add it to your tank every day, but the results are well worth the effort. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I too have tried several two part systems and I ended up getting some of ESV's 2-part from someone selling their remainder. I haven't gone back since. I love how this maintains calcium and alkalinity. I like the measuring cups that come with the bottles. Makes variable addtions accurate and simple to do. Comments: The original and still the best, I recently tried another product at the bequest of a vendor and actually stopped and went back to B-Ionic, its that good. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Best bang for the buck by DarkRealm Overlord

Comments: If you are looking for an easy to dose 2 part calcium/alk system this is it. Ive used b-ionic for 3 years now and love it....the poor mans calcium reactor! :) Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Two gallons is one. by MARK WUESTENBERG

Comments: You get one gallon of each so forget the two gallons thinking it's going to last you, because you add the same amount of each one like it's a gallon anyway. Keeps Alkalinity up. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
