Comments: Easy Mod to the MJ1200 Took two minutes and really makes the flow in my custom 75 gallon look like I was using more expensive higher flow pumps. Great way to upgrade the flow in your tank. Your reef corals will thank you! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This mod using a Maxi-jet 900 is more powerful the Hydor Koralia 3 by about 30%. This is a great mod and my hat goes off to its extraordinary inventor. This is an example of invention at it’s best! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have to fiddle with propeller each time I turn off pump to get it started again. The clanking was so loud it woke me up at 3 in the morning. I will be returning my second one back to the store once my sureflow 1600 arrives. Sureflow is less noisy and has been working with my aquacontroller timer. Found the ecomod to put out a slightly stronger flow than sureflow still not worth the trouble. Sureplow also has directional mount which is a plus. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought these about three weeks ago. They made a lot of noise, and they do not stay attached, I'm constantly having to fish the pieces out of my tank almost daily. I will not buy these again. I am going to try and return them if possible. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Works good for the money .But there are better ways to increase flow.Not good with wave makers. Sometimes they get stuck and need a tap to start back up. BUT for the money they do increase water flow and get rid of dead spots . Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had both these and the "sure-flo" kits. Both offer good flow, I think the sure-flo may actually push more water. However, these are much quieter. If you are using maxi-jet 1200s neither will last more than 6 months. When you compare the price to similar set ups offering this much flow, they are still a bargain in the short term. The biggest problem I had was I had to adjust the lock on mechanism. The spinning of the prop can spin off the shroud. After a small amount of fiddling, and occasional replacements, I am happy with these. I have 3 in a 125 and flow is awesome and quiet. This being said, buy tunze if you can afford it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought one of these pump mods and started using it. I was impressed at the performance and the amount of current flow, however it only worked for about 2 weeks and then just stopped working at all. I thought I had a fluke or something, so I ordered more of them. I started using another one and the same thing happened. It worked great for about 2 weeks and then just stopped working. I will be returning all of them if I can return them. I can't recommend these. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I picked up an ECOMOD kit for my MJ1200 and it was amazing. For $35 ($20 for the mj, $15 for the mod), I had a pump putting out ridiculous flow. In fact, facing the other wall of my tank (pointing straight ahead from the back wall) 18" up, it was creating a sandstorm. I fitted it to my 600 (it works for all mj models, according to the box), where it continued to kick up sand for a day or two until it settled into dunes (in the same spot; I switched the two). The only downside is that the holding brackets it comes with have to be fitted on the lip of the tank. It's hard to adjust the size and angle, but it's worth it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Overall this product is very good. MUCH better than the kits you assemble yourself. (I have purchased two different ones) There is some noise, but the flow in incredible. The “Anti-Reverse” mechanism works well. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
