Lights look great, and run cooler than the T-5's they replaced. So far, fish and corals seem happy. I have the daylights dimmed 50% as suggested to acclimate. I don't have a way to measure offically, but to my eye there is plenty of brightness. I have two 48 inch marine fixtures over a 85 gallon bowfront tank. Retrofit into my hood was quick and easy.

I don't often write reviews but as many of us have been looking to switch to LED's as a primary light source at an affordable price for some time now I thought I would put in my peice. I have to say, upon setting this fixture up I was almost blown away. I have a 90 gallon reef and I have to say, the light penetration, shimmer and adjustable dimmer was everything they advertised it to be. The reflectors are awesome. Fortunately I have been using stunners for some time now which I also was pleased with so the adjustment for my corals should be easy. In fact they really opened up right away and I don't think they will be missing the T5. All soft corals for now but may go ahead and try a few SPS and see how it goes. For the price, so far it looks like this is quite a deal! Anyone who says the shimmer and light penetration is not impressive must be blind

Very sleek looking light. LED so stays cool and no noisy fan. Mounting mine on canopy with enclosed bracket. Comes with only one power transformer, but I bought a second so I can control white and blue on/off times separately.

Nice to be able to separately control the blue and white LEDs. Light is much smaller than I anticipated compared to the conventional or T-5 lights but the output is impressive. I ended up using 4 lights for a 210 gallon freshwater (30 inches tall) tank and it creates an excellent shimmer effect. In the evening I tend to adjust the light to blue and it creates an beautiful effect for the tank.

I put a 36" light on my breeder. Looks are amazing but light output lacks. To keep corals (LPS, some others) successfully, you would need 2-3 of these. It would be great to supplement but that's about it. Overall design is great, sleek, slim, retro would be good adjectives to describe the looks alone.
For the price of 2, you could get 1 AI Vega and have the coverage and output needed. Basically, I paid for a name.

Just got one of these, and I could not be happier!
I'm getting great shimmer combining this and an all blue actinic panorama pro module w/ my 6x ATI Sunpower.
They come w/ an inline dimmer switch, which is awesome not only for adjusting the input as you like, but also for acclimating your corals to the new lights.

I currently setup a 50 gal rimless saltwater tank. I was up in the air with the lighting, contemplating a single pendant or Ecoxotic LED setup. Really glad I went with these lights, it looks very elegant and clean looking on my tank. The quality of the lighting is very nice and gives off virtually no heat. The big plus is that you can fine tune the lighting to your liking. Really gives a nice shimmer as stated on the product review. Highly recommend, thanks Marine Depot.
