Comments: I bought this pump a couple weeks ago for a nano reef tank, I purchased the 265gph so I would have power but be able to adjust as needed. It powers a homemade filter system while being responsible for current generation. This pump is awesome, it delivers plenty of power while remaining amazingly quiet. I especially like the adjustment range. My corals are in love with the current this creates. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a compact internal pump! You can trust Eheim! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i am using this pump in my sump to feed my copepod cultivation tank which is above the display tank so it has to pump the water about 6 feet in the air which it dose no problem Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This pump works perfect!! Accidentally forgot to plug it in before I stuck it under 10 lbs of rock, thankfully though it worked right out of the box. Haven't had any problems with it at all. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Zalman Reserator 1 replacement by Ted Kandell

Comments: This Eheim 300 is the pump that you need to replace a faulty pump inside the Zalman Reserator 1. This newer model of the pump has a slightly thicker power cord, so you'll have to drill out the pressure fitting and the hole where the power cord comes out of the bottom of the Reserator to accommodate it. When you install the pump, all you need to do is just cut of the plug and thread the cord through, and then put on a new plug, which you can buy in any hardware store. Use a strap wrench to unscrew the bottom of the Reserator, inserting anything into the tube outlet holes can damage them. The bottom of the Reserator will unscrew using a strap wrench even if it takes a bit of effort. Make sure that you replace the long screws that hold down the pump with stainless steel screws if they are corroded. Don't use galvanized screws, because they will corrode and the resulting grit will damage the pump. Also, you can cut a thick piece of plastic to use as a strip with the two screws screwed through it and into the Reserator base to hold down the pump instead of the aluminum strip that comes with the Reserator. The aluminum strip corrodes and falls apart. Clear silicone is good enough to seal the outlet where the power cord exits the bottom of the Reserator. Thread the power cord through the pressure fitting and the hole, then fill the hole with silicone and screw down the pressure fitting and let it cure overnight. The Zalman Reserator is a great water cooling system, but the weak link is the pump which tends to start to become noisy and fail after a time. Fortunately, these Eheim 300 pumps are relatively inexpensive and this will completely refurbish your Reserator 1. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I use this versitile pump in both my freshwater tanks (as a powerhead)and it has lasted over 4 years. And, I have use it in my terrariums to power the water features for about the same amount of time. I would not switch. The are really a great product. Comments: got 2. put 1 in my zalman resorator( PC Water Cooling ) to replace the stock pump. fits perfect. had to mod the resorator just a bit for the new cable. but it runs perfect and perfectly silent. had to actually check to be sure it was on. got 1 for a spare just in case. so far so good! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I was looking for a pump to put in a 3 gallon Picotope to pump into a refugium; needed small size and lower flow. Got this pump based on the Eheim reputation, adjustable flow and it's price. It's really a tiny pump but still quite powerful. I wound up using it to replace the stock pump (400L/h) on a Nanocube6 because that was a much to powerful pump for the delicate freshwater plants I'm keeping in this one. The Eheim 300 is half the size of the stock pump, fits the same outlet hose and even wide open the flow is just perfect - nice and gentle. I'll be picking up another. Oh, don't let the larger box fool you - it's mostly power cord. The AC cord is at least a 12 gauge cable - very substantial with a 2 blade plug (integrated grounding I believe). Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: One of my chinese Feng Sui fountain pumps went wrong and I decided to replace it with a proven Eheim pump. It was the right move, this little gem is silent and the flow is amazing, small enough to fit almost anywhere. As always the quality is second to none. Buying Eheim is a guarantee of quality products, I have been using Eheim products for years and this little pump is not an exception quality wise. Comments: I bought this to replace a Rio HF pump I recently purchased (not from Marine Depot) which rattled and clicked like a train. I don't mind a pump humming, this Eheim does have a hum, but it does not click or rattle. I think this pump also puts out more flow than the Rio HF I replaced that was rated higher than this pump. The pump is well built and compact. I really like the flow control on the pump. I also have a heater from Eihem which is also very good quality. Finally, I would also highly recommend MarineDepot, although I could drive to their store they ship quickly my orders usually get to me the next day and I don't have to bother with LA traffic. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is an excellent pump to have. I really like the fact I can adjust the flow rate to suite my needs. At full output, it was a little too strong for my 24 gallon planted tank, so I was able to back it down slightly to a less strong flow. And it it extremely quiet. I can't even hear it running. Comments: This is a good sturdy little water pump. Its physically larger than a Mini-Jet so keep that into consideration if dealing with tight spaces. Its minimum flow setting is slightly stronger than a Mini-Jet 606's lowest form, at least from my comparison from my two MJ606s and this pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Used the Eheim 300 to replace a faulty pump in the Zalman Reserator 2. It did require some modification, such as cutting most of the neck off the output tube and cutting the plug and most of the cord insulation off the power wires. But the pump itself is a direct replacement and got my system working perfectly again. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
