While we are used to changes in our diets everyday, our marine fishes are usually fed with the same food for long periods. When we need to feed our fish, unless we own an aquarium populated mainly by Soft corals where high level of nutrients is not a limiting factor, we are faced with the need to decide whether we want fish in perfect health condition or colorful SPS corals.
Formulated with high quality ingredients providing high digestibility and palatability with Elos SVM we have developed the first high-nutrition fish food dedicated to feed the fish of our reef aquarium. Made to protect our fish`s health, Elos SVM is a complete balanced formula with all the required nutrients, saltwater crustaceans and 14 marine derived vitamins to provide growth, spawning activity and health of tropical marine fishes.
With the use of Beta-Glucans we add natural substances into the food that are scientifically tested and proven to stimulate the macrophages, specialized cells within the body of the fish, that check and control the pathogenic agents development. Since its introduction in 1997 it has been proven by top fish breeders that Elos SVM can be used to enhance fishes` immunity and successfully strengthen their resistance against bacterial, viral and parasitic infections.
Implementing the OSCAR technology, a "post-extrusion" system to incorporate high nutrition level into standard extruded fish food, we have increased the level of Bio-availability in our food. Particular attention has been paid to the origin of the marine ingredients in order to ensure the optimum ratios of the essential fatty acids. Using Low temperature Extrusion, and LT raw material heat-sensitive nutrients such as amino acids and vitamins are unharmed. All this leads to a high degree of feed digestibility and nutrient value allowing the user to feed much less food thus significantly reducing the level of organic waste into the water.
Many types of seafood contain various inorganic phosphate salts intentionally added to them as preservatives. Using aluminum cans/bags and packed in a controlled atmosphere, we reduce the need to use preservatives thus significantly reducing the level of phophate released to the water.

This is a quality food for my saltwater fish. It's interesting that my bluefin damselfish will actually eat this food pretty eagerly. He doesn't like flake/pellet food at all but he eats this stuff. He likes frozen food only for the most part.

The sv.M2 pellets sink slowly and (unlike New Life pellets) give the fish a chance to catch the pellets before they hit the sand. Everything in my aquarium, including the anemones, gobble it up.

So far my fish are really enjoying this product. Its not too messy in my tank and does not have phosphates in the food. Can't beat that. I have been pretty impressed with Elos brand products and have purchase somemore of there product line. Nothing but the best right here.

A+ I just rub a few pellets in my fingers, while dipping my fingers in the tank. This kind of breaks up the pellet a little bit, and causes it to sink slower.

I did like it but it sank so fast most of my fish could not get to it however i did like that the bottom feeders loved it however it was not worth the money.

This is TOP quility food and My fish love it. The best thing is that it will not cause you phosphates to go through the roof like so mank other products. Even if my didn't like it I would starve them until they did like it LOL. But like I said my fish LOVE IT (clown fish,fire fish and a bicolor blenny) 10 out of 10
