Mixed in sterile environment, packed using dark glass containers to avoid contamination, blended to provide sustained bio-availability in the medium-long term rather than simply increasing, in the short term, the targeted element, these additives offer maximum durability and quality thus improving the biological/chemical equilibrium inside our tanks.
Elos Extra Iodine, an additive of the EXPERT LINE, is a very efficient, highly concentrated integrator that contains iodine in its most effective form, as elementary I2.
Iodine is rapidly used up in the system, and removed through protein skimming, ozone, carbon filtration and intense light. Elos Extra Iodine supplies iodine needed for proper growth and health of invertebrates and algae. Use of Elos I2, a blend of three different sources of Iodine and enzymatic activators is beneficial, as well.
Important: during our production process we take particular care to avoid contaminations to our raw materials. We also dedicate a lot of attention to our stock and supply chain in order to always supply to our distributors the most fresh, recently produced batch. Iodine, more than other elements, is very delicate and its quality and efficiency is significantly influenced by storage conditions.
