Comments: I have a water turtle and he is *really* dirty. As soon as I clean my tank it's filled with debris 2-3 days later--so thick you can't even see the turtle. I had a filter but it didn't do anything so I just figured it was because turtles are "dirty." Well I figured I'd try another filter, and after hours of research I decided to go with the Hagn Fluval 4. Oh my--I've never had a clearer tank!!!! I was so happy that all my time off I didn't have to spend cleaning the tank. It's been 4 days now and the water is still crystal clear. I didn't even clean the tank out before I put the filter in--it took all the debris out within a few hours. I would definatly recommend these foam inserts. They are *very* easy to clean and you can definatly reuse them. I've sprayed mine out 2 times already and they still look almost brand-new. A definatly MUST HAVE if you have turtles--or any other messy aquatic pet :)
