Comments: this is a great timer, easy to program and works exactly as it should. However i didn't realize that "24 hour timer" means military time(1430 hours=2:30pm). it's not really a problem for me, but other people may want standard time. if so, this company makes that that timer as well, just make sure you know which one you are ordering. i don't like to give perfect ratings, but i find no faults with this timer. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought two of these thinking you can program one side to do something and the other side for something else, well, I was wrong. Works like it is supposed to though if you need two things to come on at once. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This timer is junk. I've gone through two of them and on both the pluggs have come loose causing the lights to flicker. Overall, it's ureliable I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this thinking that you could control the two outlets separately but I was wrong, you can NOT do this. A cool feature is that if you unplug the time from the power source (which frequently happens when re-wiring your power strips and such) the time and your on/off times do not reset. It all stays stored. There is a ton of program space so you could have any type of cycle going through the week individually day by day. or on certain patterns through the week (i.e. just sat and sun or M-F, etc.) Four stars for not being able to control the outlets separately. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: not noted in the list of features is the day variability. you can have mon-sun, mon-fri, mon wed fri, sun tues thur sat, or any individual day. Very cool. I am using these to replace dusk to dawn and old single program analog timers. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I had seen complaints about this product. However, I know that people are sometimes more motivated to complain about a bad product than to praise a reliable one. However, I just received one, and some buttons only work once in a while, and others not at all. I'm hoping that the second one is better, but I remember seeing one review where the person needed to go through three timers to get one good one. OK, so maybe some negative reviews are worth paying attention to... I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: BEWARE! sounds like you could run two tank lites on two diferent schedules after all it will take 8 programs WRONG! PROG RUNS BOTH OUTLETS AT THE SAME TIME.SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY A SINGLE TIMER & PUT A .99 CENT 3 WAY PLUG ON IT. WHAT A WASTE RC FL KEYS I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Nice to have two outlets. However, even when using a power strip with an offset outlet, still covers at least two outlets on the power strip. Unit is also only 24 hrs, doesn't have a 12 hr option. Overall nice unit and I would use where I wanted to control two devices (2 light strips) on the same time schedule. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have now owned 3 Hamilton Digital Timers. Unfortunately, all three have gone bad. I do not recommend them, and I will be switching to a different brand. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Easy to install, and even though I had to mount it upside down it is doing it's job, turning our new plant lights on and off at the designated times. I searched awhile for a time like this that works with flourescent lights, and found the perfect one. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The timer is easy to program and very flexible with its multiple program options. The usage is very simple and the battery back up is very convinient as it stays on time and no need to re-program without AC power. As general purpose timer is a fine piece of electronics, its applications will go from pumps and lights to trigger solenoids in the garden or pond for watering or special effects. Highly recommended quality product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i use them(3) for my lightings- t5's as dawn/dusk, metal halides, and moon lights. like these features: low price, easy to set up, dual outlets, back up battery(so you don't need to reprogram if the power goes out for a short period...don't know how long the back up last, tested by unconnecting for only a few minutes), big plus--you can turn the timer "on" and then put it in "auto" and it will keep the programmed schedule without having to turn it "off" and put it back in "auto" later. additional features that would make it better: backlit lcd or different color led so it's easier to see especially when placed in the hard to see location, separate on/auto/off buttons. overall a very capable timer especially for this price. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i'm having problems with the light changing form moon light to day light. instead of changing from moon light to reg light right away it turns of and takes 3 minuits to turn on. but beside that its great! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It's accuracy is +/- 2 minutes a month. Pretty poor for a digital timer IMO. Too bad, as otherwise this is a pretty nice unit (I would have preferred the plugs come out the bottom and not the sides..) Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
