150 WATT 10K HQI REEFSTAR - LOW PROFILE HQI METAL HALIDE SYSTEM

Operates one 150w 10K HQI double ended metal halide bulb (150 watt 10K HQI bulb included in price). The low profile, light weight hood is ideal for small spaces. Unit comes complete with a highly reflective hammertone reflector (20% more light output), 150 watt 10K double ended HQI bulb tempered glass lens and remote HQI ballast with quick disconnect. Great choice for reef tanks. Designed to hang above the tank. Hanging wires included.

Comments: Bought this for a 58g Oceanic, wow what a difference. Love the 14k bulb and so do the inhabitants. Stays relatively cool when compared to other systems and its a great price as well. Unit came strait from the factory.

Comments: I was pleasantly surprised to see the addition of 2 LED moonlights on this fixture. The fixture is small and compact but lacks an on/off switch. Not a problem with a timer though. Cords are plenty long for remote ballast location and the mounting plate was adequate for flush mounting. The 14k buld produces a nice crisp bluish white very similiar to mercury-vapor. Nice product overall.
