Comments: Solid product. Lights put out more heat than regular NO bulds so be prepared to add a fan if you don't have one already. You'll need screws to attach to your hood which don't come with it. Easy to set up but make sure you get your wires double checked before connecting them. Would recommend this to all as an easy add-on and excellent system. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This retro kit was easy to install and really makes a difference in the way my reef tank looks now.I love it. My order was missing a piece and one phone call to Marine Depot and they sent out the missing piece that day. And even sent it 2 day Express mail at no charge.The customer service at Marine Depot is fantastic, because you are talking to people who know their products. Comments: This is my third or fourth Ice Cap/VHO combo and I have to say as always the quality and performance are top notch! I had forgotten how much VHO actinics make corals fluoresce. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Installation of the VHO Retrofit kit was a little more time comsuming than I originally anticipated. They have been running for only a couple of days now and seam to be working great. The difference between the power compacts and the VHO lights is like night and day. The tank looks great. I would recommend that if you are to install these in an existing hood, that proper ventilation be provided. They do give off quite a bit of heat. I would highly recommend this product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i have 2 of these kits one over my sump running just 2 four footers=150watt 10K. over my main tank i have the 2 six footers=330watt 50/50 Bulb, went up in minuets looks great really added great color to my corals i also run 3x250watt MH 2x14K and 1x20K in the center. I ran that setup with out the VHO's for years and the color i have now is so great i couldn't imagine not having them now my MH's are way to blue. The other nice think is they run so cool i runn just my VHO's on days that are over 95F and my tank runs all day and my chiller never comes on its kind of nice cause my corals still look good and i dont have to run the normal 1080watt i normally run when the weather permits. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is everything you need to assemble a first class lighting system. I have had four units running for 4 months without a hitch. I snap to install, and everything is high quality. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a great kit. It is very easy to wire and setup. It would be 5 stars if it came with screws to attach the light mounts to your canopy and water-proof wire nuts for the power cord connection. I used two super actinic, one white actinic, and one aqua sun bulb combo. The bulbs took a couple days to burn-in. The color looked funny initially, but settled in nicely now. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Very powerful light w/ upgraded ballast....no need for reflectors. The wiring was simple and could be installed in an hour or two. As soon as I swapped my PC's for these bulbs, the coraline began turning from dark green to light purple...sweet! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Simply The BEST by Jeff Gilgium

Comments: Most effective lighting system anywhere! 330W brings out reef colors I never knew existed. My corals grow twice as fast as they used to. The fish are much more active too. Worth every penny! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: These are the lights I have come on over my 72" 125 gallon tank, from 7-10pm, when the 15,000k Metal halides go off at 7pm. It works great. The only draw back is the added shipping price of $20 by UPS Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
