Comments: Used Aquaclear 90 to create a Chaeto refugium. This impeller was used to decrease water flow. Absolutely Zero nitrates in my 10 gallon.

Comments: I have been asked to write a review about the aqua clear powerhead impeller I purchased. what can I say.... it spins round and round........(shrugs) The price was the most reasonable around. The only thing I disliked was that I had to buy the entire assembly instead of just the plastic blades (which, as I have discovered, seem to break on a regular basis- mostly due to my misuse of the unit. I leave it on when I change water, which introduces air into the system, that causes it to bang around and eventually start to chip and once partially broken, soon after breaks up entirely causing the whole thing to stop working) I DID find -after the fact, that.. the plastic blades ARE sold individually by another vender. Should I need another replacement, I will make inquiries. In any case, I am pleased with the purchase and with marinedepot.
