Good tank, crappy accessories

I love this tank! It is well constructed and the dimensions are perfect! Not too big, but not too small. The return pump is noisy by my standards and I replaced it. The filter socks aren't really all that great and I bought some media baskets to run with filter floss. My biggest complaint about the tank is the screen lid. The frame borders are huge and the mesh is really thick, so it blocks significant amounts of light. Also, there are large gaps between the frame and the mesh lid borders and I lost two yasha gobies after they jumped. So if you plan on keeping small fish, replace the lid with something that covers the tank edges more adequately. Overall, I really like this tank!

Nice glass

Nice, clear glass. Pump definitely noisy, had to replace quickly. The outer shipping box was destroyed! Was completely stunned there was no damage whatsoever to the tank. Added the Ghost skimmer and eheim heater to finish the project.

A Beautiful little tank.

Outstanding design, the IM protein skimmer drops right in and started working the first day. I also purchased their media reactor but haven't installed that yet. The fact that such a small tank has both of these available is impressive in it's own right. The included pump is more than adequate. The workmanship is excellent, it even has a dense pad on the bottom. We absolutely love the ultra clear low iron glass. The included screen fits perfectly. We are certain to buy more from Innovative Marine.

Couldn't Be Happier

All I have to say about this tank is wow. I upgraded to this from a Biocube 14 and the difference is striking between the two tanks. First, this tank is extremely clean and modern. The black silicone edges are pretty sleek and the glass is comparable to no tank I've seen yet. Looking through it is like there's no glass even there, it's so clear. Also, after having a curved front tank for a year, I'm really appreciating the flat glass. Cleaning will be so much easier and visibility is great, there's no distortion. The open top design is a breath of fresh air. Literally, I guess. If you're familiar with the overheating of the Biocube you'll understand - I spent $300 upgrading the lighting on that thing to bring the temperature down. The back chambers have more than enough room for my mini max and skimmer. The cheap media baskets it used to come with have been replaced with a filter sock assembly that I can already tell is going to be great, so unless you're OCD about organizing your filter media or hate filter socks you'll be pretty happy with the stock baskets now. The pump is a little noisy, like others have said, but it's not that bad. The open top also allows you to go with any lighting options you want. Again, if you're familiar with the Biocube you'll see why this is such a big deal to me. Overall, this tank is a game changer for me and I wish I had gone with it a year ago, over the tank it's replacing. I don't want to bash the Biocube too much because, for what it is, it's an amazing tank - especially for a first-time reefer, but I would encourage anybody looking at that one to take a long, hard look at this, too.

Nice tank

Tank seems solid, looks nice. Glass is straight and clear. As others have stated, media baskets are cheap - but they work. The pump is the bigger issue. It is very loud. Replaced it day 1.

Fusion 20

Pros: Quality seams, very clear glass, solid build, and filtration setup. Cons: Media baskets are cheap, 3 weeks in and return pump still really loud. Overall very easy to set up, well built, all in one nano. Just wish the caddy baskets were included rather than the cheap media baskets it came with. I would recommend this tank to a friend.

Awesome Nano

I've been keeping saltwater tanks and reef tanks for over 20 years and of all the tanks I've had, large or small, this is probably one of the best looking! The tank arrived packaged Within two boxes and enough foam block and packing peanuts I could start my own shipping company (nice job Marine Depot). The tank itself is sharp and has clean lines. The glass clarity is top notch. My only beef with it is he cheap filter baskets and the top is a little cheap looking too. I knew this coming into it, but for the price it's no biggie, in fact the price is a steal for what you do get. I threw the baskets away as I use my own filter stuff, and the top is a lot better than it looks and fits quite nicely and snug. If your looking for a new nano reef tank, honestly you can't go wrong with this one.

The best of nano tanks

20+ years reefing .I bought this tank to downsize from a 100 gallon .Excellent build quality.Dont believe what others are saying about the pump being undersized. The pump in any tank is not for flow it for turnover through the back compartment where you place your heater , Skimmer and media reactor. I am using the aqua gadgets ATO , Skimmer , and reactor with excellent results. If you want tank flow pair it up with a MP10 as I did and you cant go wrong. For lighting I went with a Kesssil A360WE tuna blue .The perfect light and tank combo . This tank with my set up works perfect and maintenance is a breeze compaired to my 100 with a sump .

IM NUVO 20 FUSION

I JUST SET THIS TANK UP...NO CRITTERS OTHER THAN 5 HERMITS IN IT...GONNA LET IT CYCLE FOR A WHILE...I WISH THE PUMP WAS MORE POWERFUL, LOOKING INTO CHANGING IT OUT FOR SOMETHING STRONGER..I DO LIKE THE LOOK AND THE BUILD, THE MEDIA BASKETS ARE WAY UNDERSIZED, I SEE WHY PEOPLE ARE BUYING THE AFTERMARKET MEDIA BASKETS...THE ONES THAT COME WITH THIS ARE JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH...BUT I LIKE THE TANK..SO,...

3.5 stars?

Overall, it's a nice starting point. The seals on some of the acrylic to glass were busted. I had to go get sealant from a hardware store and touch it up. If I could just rate the included media trays, I would give them zero stars. Go ahead and purchase an upgrade version of the trays from itanks. Might as well get a stronger return pump too. But other than that, It's not bad for $200 minus the needed repairs/upgrades.
