Comments: i bought these to use with the check ball i got here. the barbed end is plenty long as is the threaded end but the threads are cut too fine to seal without the use of several layers of teflon tape or silicone. i did try the ones at my local hardware store and they seal fine , no weeps. imo the supplier needs to check the tolerance on there dies i cannont recommend them based off the ones i received. better of going to home depot I would not recommend this product to my friends.

3/4 MPT x 1 Hose Barb by MARK

Comments: Marine Depot specifically asked me for a review of this product, so I am happy to comply. The 3/4" MPT is very 3/4", and extremely MPT. In contrast, the other side is very Hose-Barb, and exremely 1". On the whole, the item is also very plastic. I find this item particulary usefull in plumbing, especially if I need to go from 3/4" FPT to 1" flexible hose. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
