Comments: Just starting out again had to upgrade from a 55gal to a 75 Gal CornerFlo this was a minor setback to going to a Reef tank I have to wait till the 75 is stable and fully established I won't put any Corals in till it's running about a year min! so this salt is perfect for now until then! I saw someone say it wasnt sutable for a reef tank and that is correct the same company makes "Instant Ocean Reef Crystals Salt Mix" that I will switch to when needed! it makes no sence to pay extra for someting I don't yet need.

Comments: It's great salt: easy to dissolved. My fish are perfectly happy with this salt. I add 300g of salt in 2 gallons of water. It gives me a gravity of 1.023, pH=8.11 and calcium= 400ppm max. My only complain is that it is pretty low on pH and calcium and may not be suitable for corals.

Comments: I'm running a fowlr 225 gal. tank. Needless to say I go through quite a bit of salt. Since I'm not worried about perfect trace elements. I love this salt. Great price, I don't need any more buckets, and an extra 50 gal of salt for abot the same shipping cost. Win, win, win. :) For my needs it perfect.

Comments: As a breeder I use instant ocean for all my broodstock, larvae and grow out tanks. I never have any issues using this salt and would recommend it to anyone keeping a fish only system.

Comments: Great product, no clumps, mixes well, consistent mixing ratio, and the plastic pouches are much easier to deal with than the 5 gal drum.
