Comments: This is my second Iwakl brand (Americamn made) pump. I am again, very pleased with its performance. My original pump was up and running for about 11 years. It is reasonably quiet and pretty much maintanence free. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I love this pump! Great flow (more than I thought) and semi-quiet operation. Unit has been running for a week now with no problems. However I would recommend purchasing some 1/4" rubber washers (4) from home depot, to aid in vibration noise. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: In 1992, I purchased 2 Iwaki WMD-30RLT pumps for my 135 gallon reef. I use one for a return from the sump and 1 to feed my DIY protien skimmer. Both have run flawlessly all this time. No repairs and very little maintenance. They both get a slight amount of dust or "salt" spray on them being enclosed under the tank. So their outer metal motor casings are showing a little rust. I now coat them with vasaline. Last week tank leaked and got return pump wet. It kept running but caused a ground fault untill I got motor dried out. I'm buying another one today just as a "hot" spare. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It performs as advertised/specified. It has been running in realay (1wk on 1 wk off) for several months with a Pan World 100PX. I own the pan world 100PX (1wk on 1 wk off) which has been running 3 or 4 months more than the Iwaki. They are both great pumps, but I must say that the Pan World is less noisy an has a little more presure/flow output. If you are looking at this pump, do not forget to consider the Pan World 100XP. It is less noisy and a little more powerful. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a great magnet drive pump. The output angle can be adjusted by removing the propeller cover and rotate to however you want. Low amps and lightweight are a plus. I would like the pump to have more pressure like 30 to 40 PSI. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have used the American motor Iwaki for the past four years, just replaced it with an identical one. Works great, installs easily, and is the posterchild for consistent waterflow, but is far from quiet. If your family does not appreciate the sound of water pump working, you would be better investing in the Japaneese motor or a good vibration isolation system... Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a replacement pump. I had the same pump previously and was very satisfied with it. The previous one had to be replaced becuase it got submerged in a flood. I have since elevated the replacement pump just in case it happens again. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I've had one installed for a few months now to replace a T2 pump. The impeller is noisy, but supposedly this can be replaced to make these run quietly. Still waiting for my replacement impeller. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Ran one for 2 years and only cleaned a couple times. It always started ran quiet and was perfect for a retrun pump. Sold that system and jst bought another. I love these pumps. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
