Comments: This is my first SW tank. Great price on the tank. Delivered on time. It was very easy to set up. I've had it for about a week and I have 12lbs. of Fiji live rock in it. Just waiting for it to cycle. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased the JBJ 12 Gallon DX Nano Cube to downsize my freshwater set-up from a 45 Gallon tank, I'm glad that I finally did it, got it with the cabinet type stand as well. I think that its a great freshwater system. My lone 5 year old Tetra seems to like it too, now he needs some friends, time to go shopping. The system is really well made and is well engineered. the only thing that I'd like to see is a variable output.. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Not sure anyone will ever be able to beat the deal MD was offering for this setup. Although my JBJ isn't fully running to its potential yet, I have set it up and had some time to start the mods. I love the all-in-one type setup JBJ made here, especially with only one cable coming out from the tank. It's well made, doesn't feel cheap, and even the stand adds a nice aesthetic appeal to the room. The lighting is very nice and could even probably handle some SPS as is. I do see that heat build up could become a problem and I will probably replace the fans in the canopy. I may also come back and add a 70w MH if I decide to put clams or more light demanding SPS to the tank at which point more heavy modding for airflow will be needed but fun. I don't like the plastic "overflow" add-on. I know people used to DIY these and JBJ probably thought they would just add it, but #1 it is just supposed to stay via suction from water flow, but if the pump turns off (electrical outage) and I'm not home, it just floats away #2 It's clear which combined with a high flow area means I have to constantly clean it. Overall, JBJ has nailed building a all-in-one nano the way it should be. If you are new to the hobby, its almost a "just-add-water" setup. If you are a DIYer like me, this thing has infinite possibilities. As always MD rocks, worked with me to answer questions before my purchase, and had it too faster than you can say PBITAWA. Comments: I realy was shocked when it came in iwas thinking it was going to be a rip but I was worng. I realy like the filter set up easy to mess with. This is my first nano cube I have a 200 gal tank and I think I like this one better easy to take care of. Only thing I should of gotten the bigger one. I got this for my jaw fish so over all good tank Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I opened the box put the stand together then filled the tank everything works great.There was a rattle in the pump an adjustment in the power cord fixed the rattle. Ok, initial quality was awesome I did not complain about anything, unreal for me. I will tell friends and family about my JBJ Nano-cube as compared to an Oceanic Biocube. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this to house my sps, lps, soft corals, clownfish and shrimp and so far is hasn't disappointed. Looks great works great the three stage filtration leaves plenty of room for adding live rock, I'm growing chaeto in on of the compartments. Only MINOR issues - not enough room for my protein skimmer in rear compartments, and the lighting fixture comes so close to the water it wont fit there either. The surface skimmer can slip and ride a little high, causing the tank to fill up higher than you want and the filter water level to drop dramatically (fixed easily by wedging it in with the heater.) Lastly a small chip in the glass on the side, very small roughly the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Other than that it's been awesome and the deal was killer too. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: pump is a little louder than expected, especially in my 6 Gallon tank (I have both 12 gal. and 6 gal). The pumps are the same size and the 6 Gallon tank pump area is very tight and there is some unexpected vibration noise. The 12 gallon is way better just a bit of unexpected vibration noise. This could be the way i installed the rubber suction feet. I had another 12 gal. Nano for 5 years and replaced with the newer models. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great tank- I broke down a large aquarium and decided to try my first Nano tank and I could not be happier. The tank is very quiet and very easy to deal with. The only thing I regret is not buying the 24 gallon. I would have like to have room for a few more additions. I recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy marine tanks and who is worried about the energy & time needed to enjoy the hobby. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I like the product generally, but am disappointed that the lighting (pcs and leds) are on the same electrical curcuit. So setting up on a timer, timer off 'all lights are off', timer on 'all lights are on'. There is no way to auto setup the moonlight cycle as as soon as power is off to the pcs, power is also off to the led. cdub1955 Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I been in the hobby for 16 years and have always admired the Nano Cubes every since they came out. Simplicity is often the best way to go in this hobby and the Nano Cube demonstrates this fact well. I finnally bit the bullet and got one for myself. It is well made and maintenance is a peice of cake. Swish the bio-media in saltwater and ring-out/rinse the sponges and you are set (along with regular water changes of course). If I were going to design a filter system myself, it would be very close to what JBJ has done with the Nano Cube. I love the huge mechanical sponges and the fact that the pump can be replaced with one of your choice easily if you need more flow. Along with a timer from a hardware store, the lighting system is great as well as the nite view LEDs for a more natural circadian rhythm. A remote ballast avoids heat build up as does the twin fans in the top. I really can't think of a better system for a beginner. Well, believe it or not, the 24 gallon version would be best for a novice - look it up on the forums. So stop looking at it and just get one. This system will not disapiont!!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is a very nice way to put a marine tank together at minimal cost, but using dependable equipment. All arrived without incident and very well packed. Everything works as promised.
