The newly redesigned Nano Cube is now offered in a Deluxe version to meet the needs of the serious reef enthusiast. The New Nano Cube Deluxe offers double the light output of the original model, giving your corals and invertebrates 48 total watts of intense JBJ compact fluorescent illumination. All models come standard with (2) built-in cooling fans to dissipate excess heat, a new highly efficient (Fulham, UL Approved) remote electronic ballast with disconnect cable, and return nozzle for directional flow output.

12 Gallon Glass Cube
Offers Panoramic viewing with smooth rounded corners. The Nano Cube Deluxe offers the ideal dimensions for a mini-reef tank that requires depth for proper rock stacking.

Built-in 3-Stage Filtration
Newly redesigned filtration system allows for better surface skimming and more room in the rear for larger pumps for DIY customers. The filtration compartment is hidden in the rear and provides maximum space for tank inhabitants. All models now include an output return nozzle for directional flow control.

JBJ Compact Fluorescent Bulb Lighting
Includes (2) 24 watt CF lamps with a durable (Fulham, UL Approved) remote electronic ballast w/ disconnect cable. Offered with our powerful 50/50 lamps for marine tanks and 6500K daylight for plant tanks. Both lamps include UL Approved German ""Snap-In"" lamp sockets for easy bulb install and removals. Installed with splash guard lens for lamp protection.

Comments: Not sure anyone will ever be able to beat the deal MD was offering for this setup. Although my JBJ isn't fully running to its potential yet, I have set it up and had some time to start the mods. I love the all-in-one type setup JBJ made here, especially with only one cable coming out from the tank. It's well made, doesn't feel cheap, and even the stand adds a nice aesthetic appeal to the room. The lighting is very nice and could even probably handle some SPS as is. I do see that heat build up could become a problem and I will probably replace the fans in the canopy. I may also come back and add a 70w MH if I decide to put clams or more light demanding SPS to the tank at which point more heavy modding for airflow will be needed but fun. I don't like the plastic "overflow" add-on. I know people used to DIY these and JBJ probably thought they would just add it, but #1 it is just supposed to stay via suction from water flow, but if the pump turns off (electrical outage) and I'm not home, it just floats away #2 It's clear which combined with a high flow area means I have to constantly clean it. Overall, JBJ has nailed building a all-in-one nano the way it should be. If you are new to the hobby, its almost a "just-add-water" setup. If you are a DIYer like me, this thing has infinite possibilities. As always MD rocks, worked with me to answer questions before my purchase, and had it too faster than you can say PBITAWA.
