Arctica Titanium Aquarium Chillers are state-of-the-art aquarium coolers incorporating the most advance technological features compared to any other chiller on the market. Many years of research and development has allowed us to offer the perfect solution to stabilize water temperatures for your aquarium environment. These units have been designed for maximum temperature pull-down (BTU`s) with the least amount of energy draw.
Advance Features:
- Titanium Heat Exhanger: Unique titanium coil design allows for maximum contact exposure. The absolute best element for heat exchange on the market.
- Condenser Layout: Condenser is located on the front side of the chiller. This design draws cool air from the front and exhausts the warm air out of the back. This new standard will also direct access to clean the condenser grill without any tools to take the chiller apart.
- Energy Efficiency: Provide the best BTU (British Thermal Units) heat removal capacity with the lowest amperage draw. More electricity savings.
- Full Auto Digital Temperature Control System: This built-in thermostat will automatically control your desired set temperature within +1/-1 Fahrenheit. Includes a bright light LCD that can actually be read day or night.
- Lowest Noise and Vibration Level: You will be amazed at how quiet these units are for chillers. Definitely a big plus for hobbyist who have aquariums located in living rooms.
- Small Footprint: Most of the models are no bigger that a standard desktop computer. This compact size allows placement without a large designated area.
- Side Handles: ABS Molded handles allow for easy lifting and moving.
- Refrigerant: Uses Ozone Friendly Refrigerant (R-134A)
- 2 Year Warranty: The best warranty in the industry.
Pump(s) or some way to circulate water through the chiller are required and sold separately.

BEFORE BUYING THIS CHILLER I READ EVERY REVIEW I COULD FIND
I SIT WITHIN 2 FEET OF THIS CHILLER AT MY COMPUTER DESK
THE ONLY WAY YOU KNOW IT IS ON IS IF YOU SEE THE GREEN LIGHT
IT WAS A VERY EASY SET UP MY TANK WAS AT 82.5 WITH IN THE FIRST HOUR I HAD IT DOWN TO 78
THIS UNIT ACTUALLY KEEPS MY TANK AT 77.9 I SET THE UNIT AT 77 BECAUSE IT RUNS I DEGREE ON THE PLUS SIDE WHICH THEY TELL YOU IT WILL RUN A DEGREE PLUS ARE MINUS
YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS CHILLER IT ALSO LOOKS GREAT

It's certainly a pleasure purchasing a product that performs as advertized.
My JBJ Arctica Titanium Chiller (DBA-075 1/10HP) was up and running 10 minutes out of the box.
Calibrating my tank's temperature with my APEX Lite was a snap.
By the way if you are wondering if operating noise is an issue it is not. My reef tank is in my family room. My wife and I sit about 10 feet away from the tank/chiller watching TV and Movies. The noise is negligible.
If you're in the market for a chiller, I highly recommend you strongly consider JBJ. You will not be dissatified.

Bought this chiller for my red sea max 250 (65 gall) based on that fact that chiller specs says it fit up to 130 Gallons, thought it would be quite adequate but I was wrong I stick with factory settings of 77 degree so as soon as temperature would rich 78 and something almost 79 the chiller would kick in, OK it does that BUT to lower temperature for that not even 2 degree back to 77degree the chiller working for two hours even ambient temperature always 77 I mean it could be something wrong with my particular chiller but I choose to send it back for quite hefty shipping charges Other than that unit seems OK it quite but not bad room living room quite you still defiantly hear it and it could be annoying

This has been the best aquarium investment I've made. I have a 140 gallon fish only aquarium with high end equipment but was constantly experiencing fish lost. I never really considered purchasing a chiller because I had thought that they were really only critical for a reef setup. Man I was wrong! Over the years I've had numerous fish lost that I did not associate with the temp. fluctuations. I can count the number of expensive fairy wrasses I loss over the years that had me scratching my head trying to figure out what the problem was. Upon doing research I realized how harmful temp. fluctuations could be to fish. Since purchasing the JBJ 1/4 hp chiller, I've had no fish lost. In regards to fairy wrasse, I now have 3 Flame Wrasse, Golden Wrasse and Scott Fairy...all extremely healthy and active. I just wish I had invested in a chiller years ago it would of saved years of grief, misery and money.

I have used a make shift compressor/heat-exchange unit for 34 years and finally decided this summer to go for an all- in-one unit. What a delight. Yesterday the chiller was inadvertently shut off. I didn't catch it for 20 hours. During that time the temp rose from 58 degrees to 67.8 degrees. We lost several creatures, but the amazing thing was within 30 minutes of turning the chiller back on the temp went down 3 degrees and the animals began recovering rapidly. Thanks for a great chiller.
