DO NOT PURCHASE THIS STAND. The instructions on Marine Depot's web site are wrong. They did not ship any instructions with the stand. I do have to give credit to Marine Depot for wrapping the box in extra cardboard for shipping. You put the stand together with wood dowels and then screw the top and bottom on. I have gaps in corners where the dowel holes were not drilled properly. The stand wobbles badly on a flat surface. I will throw this stand away and purchase something else. VERY DISSAPPOINTED WITH JBJ.

Very poor design, extremely user unfriendly. Once I did finish it, the stand seems sturdy and not bad looking. This unit came with no instructions and missing some parts. It is also packed in the worst kind of Styrofoam; it disintegrates into thousands of small particles that stick to everything. If you follow the online instructions you will almost certainly need to take something apart to re-assemble it. I have built several of these stands in the past; this one was the most user unfriendly I have encountered.
