Comments: I attached mine to a 2.5 gallon nano colony tank. It didn't work with the custom cut acrylic cover I had, so I left off the cover and went to class. When I came back, the screw had slipped out of the arm and the light collapsed into my tank. Nothing died, but the light is broken. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this light to get some additional light into my refugium. The result is immediate. Once I bought this and leave it on for 24/7, macro algae doulbed in only 2 weeks! Thus, the macro-algae loves this light and export a lot of excessive nutrient in the tank. After leaving this on for about 2+ months, the bulb just died! Worst of all, I can't find the replacement part from here and you can't use any bulb you find in the hardware store because the light spectrum is different. I will contact their support soon and hopefully this will be covered in their limited 3 months warranty. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: bought this for the aesthetics of my refugium. the light is nice and bright! The parts are a sort of cheaply made (flimsy plastic) Would have given it 5 starts if: 1. The price was cheaper and 2. The bulbs were easily replaceable for purchase at a local hardware store. You have to use the JBJ bulbs as i was told from JBJ. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
