JBJ introduces the revolutionary NANO & MINI Arctica Chillers! Finally, there is a REAL long-term solution for heat concerns in Nano environments with amazing cooling capabilities beyond thermal-electric and fans, that produce less than minimal results.

The Arctica Chillers are offered in (2) models: The Nano-Arctica handles up to 25gal & the Mini-Arctica handles up to 40gal aquariums. Don`t be fooled by the smaller size. These are driven by energy efficient 1/15 Hp compressors that can drop temperatures beyond anything comparable in the market!

Screening Process
All chillers require clean air flow to achieve optimal efficiency, we`ve now made it easier with a removal screen for quick and easy cleaning.

A New Generation
The industry`s first Nano Chiller that utilizes a nano compressor for maximum cooling capacity. The Arctica Nano & Mini chillers simply put, OUTPERFORM thermal electric/peltier equipment since it utilizes R-134-A refrigerant gas to drop temperatures with ease. Truly the BENCHMARK of mini chillers!

Quiet... Please
We know noise is a concern, so we`ve designed the chiller with that in mind. The Nano & Mini Arctica Series have the lowest noise and vibration level in its` class.

Dial In
Is equipped with an integrated analog temperature controller and probe with a +/- 1°F differenece from the set point. Simply turn the dial to your desired temperature setting and our controller will do the rest.

Temperature Setting Range: 73°F–81°F

Stay Alert
Controllers are equipped with a malfunction ALARM system. A visible LED signals any problems with the chiller`s performance.

Style & Elegance
Designed for in-home use, with a contemporary style and luxury finish. An added welcome to any room in the house without the commercial look.

Size Matters
The smallest footprint in the Arctica Line-up. The Nano & Mini Series only require a 7.72" x 12.6" space for placement.

Pump(s) or some way to circulate water through the chiller are required and sold separately.

Comments: Excellent little chiller. I have this on my JBJ nano cube 28 HQI. When I hooked it up, the tank went from 86 down to 76 in 2 hours (with a 80 degree ambient temp) and has remained there ever since. The chiller is extremely quiet, I can only hear it when it kicks on then I cannot hear it running. I power mine with a maxi-jet 600.

nice small chiller

Comments: This chiller did a great job keeping my 46g reef nice and cool in the summer. The small footprint allowed me to squeeze it next to my sump, which is pretty crammed. The fan motor broke after about 5 months of use, but customer service is promptly sending another. Gotta love warranties.

Very quiet

Comments: This chiller has been up and running for over a month. It is controlling a 28g tank with an enclosed hood and a 150W MH light. Before the chiller was purchased (and anything was living in there) the tank temps hovered around 85F while the lights were running. After hooking up the chiller my tank never gets over 79.4F and my heater keeps it above 78.6F. There is a small amount of startup noise (like a small dorm room fridge), but after the first 10 seconds I can't hear my chiller running over my hood fans. I haven't had any problems with this chiller and the installation was very simple.

Comments: Our 2 week old 28 Gallon Nano Cube was going up to 86 degrees, way too hot. We installed the JBJ Mini-Arctica Chiller DBI-050 1/15hp and now it's at 76-78 degrees. The only problem we had was with the hose clamps, twice due to pressure the return hose popped off. (Thank goodness we have a rug shampooer to get a few gallons of water up. We weren't panning on doing a water change so soon. lol) We bought some hose clamps at the hardware store & are doing great now. I would definitely recommend this chiller it's quiet & efficient.
