Excellent!

Comments: This thing works perfectly so far. You must buy the installation kit since it ships with no hook ups at all. I have a 24 gal Aqua Pod and the installation was quite easy with the kit. The hoses/plastic tubes fit exactly into the right and left extreme-inputs in the rear of the hood. Just make sure that you push the hoses all the way into the plastic tubes! I have the intake going into just above the sponge filter and the water flow is going thru the little slats and into the tank. I had some trouble finding out about this, with no help from either the Marine Depot site or the JBJ site. But it does work and doesn't seem to disrupt filtration, although I do have an addition Current in-tank filter. So far, it keeps my tank at exactly 76 degrees. It goes on and off. Requires a pump to push the water thru it. None of this is explained on either site. I use the pump that came with the Aqua pod. I have my heater set into a different electrical outlet. It has gone on when the temp is below 76. It hasn't gotten THAT hot out here either since I got the chiller yet, so I can't say how it will work, but so far so good. QUIET! I don't even know when it's on. Rather large unit but just does the job. My fish are loving it, even if they don't know just why. I didn't want to spend the $ either, but this thing just works. It is my solution. Shipment from Marine Depot was very fast, but then I am in Southern California which is where they are located. I will update if it doesn't work at high temps. But so far... Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Chiller came with all the parts and used there hose kit also. Went together with the pump in 30min. it brought the ave temp of 86 degrees down to 74 degrees during the day. Use a 40 gal tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this chiller because i put a 250w MH on my 20g tank. Its a great chiller, super quiet, i cant even tell when its on. It chills down my tank great...definitely a great buy. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My nano was almost 10 degrees too hot but now is very stable and the chiller is near silent!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
