JBJ launches the new OCEANSTREAM™ circulation pumps equipped with magnetic holders and articulating pivot ball. These innovative pumps utilize a unique PaddleDisc™ impeller that diverts water to the perimeter of the housing unlike traditonal propeller based pumps. This ensures maximum "random flow" in wide circular currents that provide gentle water movement without harming corals placed directly within its path.
VERSATILITY
You can choose from our NANO OCEANSTREAM (500 GPH)) for smaller aquariums or our original OCEANSTREAM (1600 GPH) for aquariums up to 100 gallons. Pumps are ideal for fresh or saltwater aquariums.
MAGNETIC HOLDERS
All models include our powerful magnetic holders that securely position the pump without the worry of unreliable suction cups.
WAVEMAKER COMPATIBLE
OCEANSTREAM circulation pumps are definitely compatible with our OceanPulse Wavemakers that allow you to configure alternating cycles from 10 seconds to 6 minutes.
Includes:
- 2 x 500 GPH Powerheads
- 1 x Duo Wavemaker

I love it. Very quiet and my corals love the new flow patterns. Got the 1600gph ones for my 55 gallon reef. It's exactly what I needed to bring my tank to the next level. Great product for the price.

This product is exactly what it stated it was, a VERY easy to use circulation pump system that works. Sure the nylon attachments are scary, but be careful and don't over-tighten then put them to work! Moves plenty of water and the corals seem to love the movement.

The unit very nice packed. I comes with a customer manuel. It's very easy to install and to setup. The only negative I see is that it vibrates a little and that I was especting it to have a little more power. Other than that is a great buy.

I use this pump in a180 gallon fresh water planted tank, i like it for the fact that its not so powerful it throwes my fish around( smaller scooling fish).... one thing i think will cause me problems in the future i think, is the screw thread that hold the pump to the magnet is plastic and feels week... be very carful screwing it on so you dont srtip it!! 4 stars on that fact

Very large and powerfull. Create an excellent water flow and it seems like there's no dead spots anymore. Very nice product. There's a little winding up noise when they start but nothing too noticeable.

Works great, easy setup. lowest setting is 5 second intervals, it would have been nice if it had lower on time intervals like 1-4 seconds

I would not recommend this product for what you may think it does. The pumps are kinda bulky and if you have a 75g or smaller aquarium they will stick out like a sore thumb. Anything bigger than a 75g i would hands down go with Hydor. I put a Hydor 750gph one side of my tank and a 1600gph on other, the smaller Hydor pushed back the JBJ! the controller is cool and works fine puts get a 4 out of 10.

They have a serious design flaw. The impeller motor is attached to the magnets by a cheap small nylon stud. The stud will eventually strip or break as you adjust or tighten the mounts. I only had these 1.5 weeks before it happened to me.

I received the package very fast and it arrived in good shape and very well packed. Those things are on the retailer and the shipper, so now on to the actual unit. It provides plenty of flow for my 50g aquarium and it is super silent. You can't hear any sort of knock or buzzing when the powerheads switch off or on. This was the main reason I avoided the other "economy wavemaker- The Hydor Koralia Smart Wave". Several people said there was too much noise with the Hydor-even when using the Evolution pumps. Now the Hydor does have some features that I wish JBJ would look into, like the ON/OFF switch and then the simultaneous timered ON feature for both pumps. But hey with a retail of $42 per pump I only have like $16 invested into the timer itself. Overall I'd give the Kit a 8 out of 10. If JBJ could look into the two ON/OFF features I mentioned then it would be a 10 out of 10 at this price point.
