REMOTE TEMPERATURE PROBE
Most heaters have an integrated temperature probe within the same heating element. This can lead to false readings and premature ON/OFF cycles. The TRUE TEMP digital controller is equipped with a remote quick disconnect temperature probe that can be placed up to 5 feet away from the heating element for a comprehensive temperature measurement of the total volume of water. Quick disconnect temperature probe grants easy replacement without the need to replace the entire controller in the event it fails.
SAFETY GUARD
All titanium heating elements are securely placed inside our safety guards that protect you and your livestock from the heating core. Our flow thru design grants continuous water contact without interruption.
CROSS REFERENCE
Have you ever noticed that majority of heaters cannot be calibrated. Often times, errors do occur during the calibration process. The ability to cross reference ensures your temperature is accurate and always correct.
SMART MEMORY CHIP
An integrated smart memory chip will restore the previous temperature set point and calibration to the last stored setting once the power returns after a failure. This alleviates having to manually reset settings forever.

I just upgraded my tank with new LEDs so out with the chiller. Which this meant I would need a heater. It was very easy to setup and after plugging it in I felt there was no way that temp could be right. I then went and bought an old school thermometer after leaving it in my tank for a few minutes I pulled it out and the temp was correct. I didn't have to calibrate it or anything. Well wrth the money.

I purchased the t3-800. I would not recommend it. Works great but! The controller connection is horrible. It constantly reads error at the slightest touch the connections aren't great.
I took the heater rod and hooked it up to my controller instead. Worked great until yesterday. out of the blue it just crapped out. doesn't heat up at all. I bought the 800W even though my tank only needs about 500W so the heater doesn't have to work as hard. dead after 2 years. Better off sticking with a different less expensive titanium heater. and get two smaller ones instead of one big one.

I have had this heater for 3 months. I have to say that this heater works really well. I have the temp set to 77 and my tank stays in between 76 and 78. I have a second temp probe in the tank also and both probe read the temperature within .2 deg. The only thing that is upsetting is the JBJ didn't come with the magnets to attach just suction cups, but its not a deal breaker. I push in the suction cups every week when doing a water change no problems.

I have JBJ 28gal LED tank. I just got a Cbreeze fan to cool the tank during the hot summer days. This 150W heater unit works well with the Cbreeze fan, keeping my tank set at 79° - 80° temp during the day. I guess you can say they battle each other. I used to have a Marineland 100W Stealth pro heater but it seemed to have a 4°-5° temp change in the day time. I much prefer my new digital temp controller for the summer months. This is a much cheaper option than purchasing a water chiller. The only deal I did notice was that on a more regular basis I now have to regulate my water evaporation with the Cbreeze fan hooked up. LED's are the future for growth!

I've had this product (TT-800) for 1 year and 2 months. It had been working great, but as of three days ago the calibration temp has gone from my set temp of 77.7F to 92.4F for no reason. I've unplugged the unit and waited a day but no change, I have also tried to re-calibrate but the unit will not allow my to go any lower then 82.4F, and then it climbs back to 92.4. I have written the company and no response yet. At a 180.00 per unit I would recommend buying something that will last, I can not afford to buy one every year!

I bought two controllers (1 w/1000w heater) in Oct. This week, the heater has quit, one probe died and one of the controllers won't calibrate (even with remaining good probe). I am extremely disappointed with this product and will never buy another. JUNK.

I've been keeping tanks since 2008 and have heaters fail in the past but never like this. I relieved this product for Christmas, but when I installed it the controller would not power on. JBJ replaced the unit, but 5 months later it failed again and this time cooked my established reef at 97.5 degrees. I contacted the company and they will only replace the controller again, not any of the livestock that I've kept for the last 8 years. NEVER trust this controller, only use the heater if it's attached to a controller like a reefkeeper or equivalent
