Comments: I've only had this new heater for a few days but so far I'm pleased with the quality and thoughtful design (especially the use of magnet mounts rather than suction cups). I've verified the accuracy and find it within 1/2 F. I'm hoping this will end my temperature control worries for good. The only down-side to this heater is cost. But if you have expensive fish, losing even one would out-weigh the cost of this heater. The only thing I would change is the temperature cycle band of +/- 1F which means 2F swings. I'd like to see that cut in half, although the manufacturer says all fish tolerate that 2F cycle without a problem. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great high quality product. I really like the attachment options with the magnets. I use the heater with my chiller. The temp adjust is + / - 1 degree just as my chiller. I have my chiller set @ 79 degrees and my heater set at 77.8 degrees. This keeps my temp within a 3.2 degree range without my chiller & heater working against each other.My chiller stops @ 78 degrees not tripping the heater.The heater runs to 78.8 degrees. Chiller turns on @ 80 degrees. Coral and inverts can easily handle the temp difference. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had this heating system for about a week now, and I love it. I have had really bad luck with other brands with the most recent heaters purchased back in December. I purchased two 300 watt heaters and they lasted one month. The JBJ True Temp Heating system is keeping my tank at spot on set temperature. I really love the calibration feature to dial the heater in with my other thermometers monitoring sytem temp. Yes, I would reccomend this product to my friends. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have not been able to set the current water temperature and the heater has been unoperable since it thinks the water is 84 degrees, when it is really 76 degrees.Would like to evaluate later when it is working, I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had this JBJ Temp Heating System for about a week and I love it. My system is about 250 gal I use to combine 3 300 watt heaters just so I could have enough wattage to heat the system. Now with this 1000 watt heater no problem I have wattage to spare. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: After moving all my equipment for my 175 Gallon Reef tank from under the stand to the basement, the system now ran much colder and required a heater. I have a 175 Gallon Reef with another 80 gallons of refugium and sump space. This heater quickly brought the system up to temperature. It is very easy to set up and I specifically like the magnet holder to keep the heater and temperature sensor firmly in place. Also, it is fairly compact at 13" tall for a 500W heater. Most heaters of this class are much taller that would not fit in my sump. All in all a high quality product which is easy to set up and works well Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My husband has 4 fish tanks - the biggest being 175 gallons. It's been very difficult keeping it heated properly. The JBJ True Temp Heating System has been an excellent answer to the problem! Comments: This is a very good product with good quaility and price.Only recommendation would be improve shipping packaging. The tip of the temperature probe was broken. But still worked with no functional problems. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Needed the heater as we are going through a remodel with the back wall of the house gone. Needless to say the outside temp was 28 F, and the tank was a warm and toasty 75.5. Love the fact the heater element is submersible. The set up is easy. I would highly recommend. Kent Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This unit works as they say, but it has a 2 degree swing. This is unfortunate because it doesn't work well with a chiller. I have mine set at 76.9, it doesn't turn on till 75.9, and doesn't turn off till 77.9. My chiller runs from 77 to 78. When the main lights turn on the chiller ends up cooling water the heater just finished heating, not very economical. This would be an excellent unit if they would reduce the swing to 1 degree. I would not recommend this product to anyone using a chiller. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
