The overall quality is really good it performs up to my expectations the only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is because of the price. I really like how you can control the white and the blues it runs cool and the colors really make your tank look good also the light is directed downward very well so the light does blind you when you walk into the room

The light this thing puts out is substantial and the ability to adjust the ratio/ intensity of blue/ white light is great. My corals seem to love the switch from an over powered metal halide that, in addition to being too bright, also heated up the tank 3-5 degrees (I have a chiller, but it takes a little while to kick in).

The box for the drivers looks like it was made by someone who had no experience with a CNC machine, the box for the drive looks like it has been hi with a grinder in certain spots, very un finished and looks very DIY, not what I would consider a finished product from a company like JBJ. The nobs on the sliders fell off the first time. Not sure this one made it through QA. The Goose neck is very difficult to keep positioned. Actual lighting seems fine which is why I am giving it any stars. In the end, not the product for me.

I put this over the new JBJ Nano Cube (30 gallon) and it fit nice and has plenty of light. My LPS corals receded when I had the light at full power. I've since moved the dimmers to 50% and things look great. The clamp is solid the arm is solid and the light has style along with function. It's not cheap, time will tell if its worth the money after we see how long it lasts. Just tell the wife you are saving so much money using less energy that the cost of the light is insignificant.

Easy to use and set up, though it did not come with instructions. I have it set up on a 29 gallon reef tank and it appears to be all the lighting I will need. Great color and dimming features are great as well as separate power cords for day and blue lights so timers can be used. It is smaller than I thought it would be but the light spread is wide, illuminating the whole tank evenly.

Had this light running for a few weeks now and I really dig it. I have the 54w model on my 30 gallon and my corals seem to be responding great to it. The independent adjustability of the whites and blues is great to mess around with and show off. It mounted pretty well with my rimless JBJ tank and the flexible neck is convenient. I would recommend this light for nano tanks.

I am very impressed with the quality of the fixture and power of the lights. For such a low price point, this is was a painless way to cross over into the LED realm. I have yet to test it out on SPS, but my LPS and softies responded right away and colors came out of my corals to their fullest potential! (even at 1/5 the power as I am acclimating an existing 11 gallon nano tank)
I was concerned that the fixture might be to large and heavy for a tall 12" wide tall cube, but it fits perfectly. My only complaint is that the fan is louder than I anticipated, but it's completely
worth it considering how spectacular this light is.
For those of you with larger nanos, I would wait for JBJ's larger version coming out this summer. It will be worth it.
