It took us 14 months to develop JoesJuice. After this development period, we enlisted a local aquarium retailer to become a beta test site. Our first in-store test involved the feeding of 1 Aiptasia and 1 Majano in a 250 gallon acropora tank which also contained fish, clams and other invertebrates. Before feeding pest anemones, their locations were carefully marked. It took 20 minutes for the Aiptasia and Majano to disappear. Though these test subjects never re-appeared, daily water quality checks were made over a two week period to ensure that all was well. Each new batch of JoesJuice is tested in our original development tank to assure the utmost effectiveness of our product. The corals, fish and invertebrate populations in this development tank have remained stable. Our Hippo Tang has been in this development tank for 8 years as well as a Yellow Belly Damsel 7 years, Cross Eyed Squirrel 6 years, Niger Trigger 5 years, Tomato Clown 5 years, Dwarf Lion Fish 3 years plus a host of others new and old. With no need for peppermint shrimp, we`ve been able to house fish in our reefs that might not otherwise be recommended!

This is the only product that I use for ridding my reef of aiptasia. I find that it works more quickly than advertised. It does not have a negative effect on my tank or inhabitants that are not being treated. The results are consistently permanent with just one application. Highly recommended.

Over the years I've used dozen of bottles of Joes Juice. The product does instantly kill 90% of the bad anemones on first application.
The problem with the product is that even with repeat shaking to stir up the mixture, it is lumpy/clumpy and I've never once been able to use the small green applicator as it'll clog 100% of the time.
Even drawing the joes juice straight into the syringe, clumps of white chemical clog the tip.
If joes could fix this clumping/lumping, it'd be a perfect product.

For the most part product is easy to use, problem is if you dont kill the aiptasia completly than you end up with even more babies. Also some of product will float in tank, doesnt really harm other corals unless a lot is but on. You have to use a lot on each aiptasia to completly dissolve.

I had one pesky Aptasia that was hanging around my tank. So I turned off all the pumps shook Joes Juice real well, had to cut the applicator a little bit to open the nozzle.Applied the magical mixture to the Aptasia, at first nothing happened but over the course of fiteen minutes it just slowly disolved. Just like magic.Would definately use again. The little bit you get in the bottle should last a good long time. Should have used it sooner is my only regret.

i used it to eliminate the majano anemones in my tank and it worked great i fed them the juice and they melted away very fast with only using a small amount. i will buy it again if i need to but with the small amount needed i think what i have will last a while
