Ok for the price

It is exactly as described. I would like the tube opening to be a little larger.

Perfect tool for the job

My tank is deep and I had a very difficult time feeding my anemones. The Sea Squirt works great. Extends far enough that I no longer get my hands wet or nipped by my 2 Big Eyed Squirrels (they are jerks);-)

Perfect

Ive a 24" deep tank and this feeder fits the need. The tip is fine and can glog easily with larger plankton and mysis. With that said, it perfect for feeding with reefroids and gonipower foods High quality feeder and holds food in the main tube while extending /retracted

Good concept

Good concept, but the hole is too small and things do not release the way you would prefer when spot feeding. I had to cut the end from mine to make it half usable.

Dry hands

The product performed extremely well slowing me to target feed my coral without having to move my light or sticking my arm in my tank. This allows me to tend to the needs of my tank faster and easier than ever.

Almost useful

The concept is brilliant and simple, however the one major flaw that ruins it is how small the hole on the tip is. If you are feeding Mysis or anything bigger it will clog all the time... Which reduces it's usefulness. Fortunately I have a clam so I can use it from time to time.

Good but could be improved

The Kent Marine feeding prong is a decent tool to target feed fish and corals. The extendable tube is an advantage and disadvantage as the rubber washer inside starts to degrade after about 15 months. This allows some minor leakage at first and it progresses into a mess after several more months. I am about to purchase my third as the last one is starting to get messy. Another problem is that to the tip has too small an opening and it clogs on occasion. If it clogs with something soft, one can usually pump the rubber and dislodge it. If it plugs with something solid, a paper clip can help. The solution is to find a small diameter drill bit and enlarge the hole. The third disadvantage is cleaning it. I rise with tank water. Even so, some food sticks in the inside of the rubber squeezer part and starts to rot and smell. Often I have to rinse it again before using it. Despite these issues, it works well for about 18 months and is a viable solution if you have a deep tank or want to avoid sticking your hands in the water, as skin oil is toxic to coral, and to avoid brushing up against venomous fish.

Kent Sea Squirt

Performs as advertised. Way better than a Turkey Baster! Larger pieces of Mysis get stuck but no big deal! Works very good for feeding Corals and Aneomes!
