Long handle scraper

I have used the earlier models of the Pro Scraper and am extremely satisfied with this newer one. I love the extendable handle, whereas before I had to buy one long and one short scraper. Plus, this package includes a small hand held scraper! Love it!

Just fine

Works great. Extension pole is very sturdy and everything is all non metallic so no worries about rust.

Meh

While the actual tool is well made, the blade is completely dull. It will scrape thick coralline if you really push it, but not the finer hard green algae that builds up on my glass. For that, I have to use a sharp razor blade, which completely defeats the purpose of buying this tool. I wish the blade was actually sharp so it could tackle the algae growing on my tank. I wasted good money on this when all they had to include was a sharp blade, not a dull piece of tin.

scraper struggles

I have two 65 gallon marine tanks. Both accumulate all sorts of critters growing on the acrylic. The brown algae comes off relatively easily with a kitchen plastic Tuffy, but the pinkish flat guys are very hard to remove. I have put scratches in the plastic using a piece of bamboo. The plastic scraper has worked quite well, the best strategy I have found to date. It does not scratch the acrylic but gets those critters off.

excellent

i once used the magnet didn't like it because it clicks the glass and was afraid it will break my tank. so shopping around for a cleaner so I ordered the Kent cleaning tool and it is great it cleaned so well it looked brand new. I didn't have work hard with it and believe me my tank was dirty with coraline algae. I highly recommend this product.

Good Tool

This tool is great for what it is and it is stainless steel too. Good for acrylic glass as well. It seems durable as you press onto the glass and the attachments will NOT come out doing so. Peels off unwanted Coraline Algae from glass with ease, so with any type of algae its a no brainer. Good Buy!

Well, you hit a homerun with this product! I have a built in 200 gallon acrylic and I need a lot of firm extension to reach areas. this product gives me the leverage. its sturdy, doesn't bend and with little effort allows me to remove the toughest of coralline deposits. until now a credit card was the only tool I could use but could never get to the bottom third or back of my two sided tank. doesn't matter how long you extend, it still provides the sturdiness to get the job done. wasted a lot of money until now. fellow reef keepers, don't make the same mistake. this tool is a must have!!

Excellent scraper

I was happily surprised by the quality and heft of this scraper. It is extremely well made, not some cheap piece of plastic that will last a month or two. It is easy to hold and use, attachments are provided for both glass and acrylic tanks. The half-star I deducted was because I think the spring in the release mechanism is a bit stronger than it needs to be. That was the only con I could report.

worth it

This scraper worked great in all my tanks from a 10gl up to my 55gl. Being able to change the length is key at getting those hard to reach spots.
