Comments: There's really no other tool on the market that you can use to scrape tough algae, and I actually like the two sizes of handles I have but these blades last only for one or two uses for me. A more durable, sharp blade would be nice. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I just purchased a replacement blade and it works well, but not as well as my first blade did. The first one got bent and I had to throw it away. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Scraper works great on glass aquariums, however they don't last too long as the blade will bend after a few times and you will have to replace it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I feel the proscraper is the best around, but as was others have also mentioned, the blades do bend easy. This happens when you use the corner to really get something tough off the glass. If we could all just not do this, we would be fine. Unfortunately we forget :-/ Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Safe but flimsy blades by Namsupak

Comments: If you are reading this review you may already have the scraper handle or may be looking for replacements. This review is regarding coralline algae removal and blade quality. ADVANTAGES: These blades will be around for awhile since KENT is a well established company, effective at scraping when new, safe since they are thick and not overtly sharp like a razor, color coded glass versus acrylic types, and they fit tightly on whichever handle you use. DISADVANTAGES: blades are cheaply made and bend easily, expensive especially since you need to replace blades to continue effective cleaning, and they can be hard to remove due to the plastic notch that holds the blade in place. CONCLUSION: Since these are the blades that work with the Kent marine proscrapers, I buy them. However my main use for these blades are on the long handled scraper for hard to reach areas. Overall these blades work well on a small job (a few silver dollar sized spots here and there) but anything bigger and you will be using more than one blade and more than likely will need to use a hand scraper combined with a long handled scraper to address all the coralline algae in the tank. Please see my reviews on the Aqua Medic Scraper, JBJ Aquascraper, Algae Free Hammerhead Magnet, Magnavore Algae Magnet Cleaner, Mag-float 350, and Easy blade attachment. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This replacement is a must after 4+ cleanings of my 125Gal Reef. But the new blades perform perfectly with little or no effort removing algae. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
