Comments: By following the instructions on the back I am slowly getting my Mg back up to normal and my calcium is also showing increased levels. This stuff works great. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product does what it says. Very easy to use. Most people don`t understand that you need a high mag level to hold a high Cal level. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Have been fighting bryopsis in my 3 Gallon Picotope for months now. Finally decided to quit using other magnesium supplements to attempt to knock it out and bought the infamous 'Tech M.' Results were immediate, once I hit over 1800 on my magnesium, within 12 hrs 80% of my bryopsis was white and completely falling apart. I only have a few sparse patches here and there and they are slowly disintegrating. If you have bryopsis without any water quality issues and want to kill it immediately, get this. Works like a charm. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Then get Tech M. This is the only product that I am aware that truly rids bryopsis from a tank. I've tried Mg chloride flakes and it just did not do the job. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Kent Tech M works great for raising mag. I use it to supplement in tank and with Instant Ocean salted water during waterchanges. Dont be worried about killing all of your inverts from the other review. The only way you do that is if you drastically overdose. Its safe to raise levels 100ppm/day in a reef and have no ill effects. Its important to monitor and test when you add anything to a sensitive ecosystem. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Good solid Mg Supplement. It can be used for large bumps in mg, or small supplementary doses. I used a whole bottle to bump my mg from 950 to 1350 on my 30 gallon tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I just wanted to chime in with my own experience with the product. I find reading people's thoughts on other products here very helpful. I've been using Instant Ocean salt, which is chronically low in magnesium. While many people don't test for magnesium, it's extremely important to being able to keep high and balanced calcium and alkalinity levels. If you're having problems with getting calcium over 400ppm, low mag is very likely your culprit. IO salt mixes at about 1080ppm when really, mag levels should be over 1200ppm...and preferably in the 1375ppm range. This product does work quite well. I just caution you that you will need a LOT no matter what product you buy. It takes a substantial amount of liquid (or powder) to get back to where you may need to be. It's not that the product isn't as good as others. It'll be the same with them all. Quick example: In powder form, a 200ppm deficiency which is quite common, usually takes about 2lbs of crystals to rectify. To move 300ppm in my case, I'll need just shy of 32oz just to get me back to the starting point, and I'll use it less frequently at that point just to maintain it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Pro: this stuff really works and really concentrated. bottle said it would raise mag level 18.3ppm per day, but after 6 days of dosage, it raised my mag level 200-300ppm. i used it to kill off bryopsis and i could see a sign of them dying. con: bottle arrived leaking. would of returned it for a new one but needed it right away. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Works great. Keeps my 215 gal. reef in range with 45 ml/day. If you happen to get the gallon size and notice that the solution turns dark (something is getting oxidized) after a couple of months no worries it doesn't affect the outcome. I like having separate control from the calcium reactor. I can make faster adjustments than if I mix a magnesium source into the reactor. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It does what it's supposed to do, but you do have to watch how much you dose carefully. Even by watching your dose, it does have it's side effects. It killed all my inverts. But at the same time, it kept bryopsis at bay. IF your fed up with bryopsis like me, losing some inverts is better then full tank of bryopsis. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
