Korallen-Zucht

ZEOvit Zeolite Reactor Media

ZEOvit consists of three different sized untreated and all natural Zeoliths of highest quality. For best results it should be used in a filter. If used in combination with ZEObak and ZEOfood, ZEOvit will safely remove nitrate and phosphate from the aquarium. With patience and over time the water quality in your tank will reach nearly natural levels. This will result in natural colors and growth rates.

1 Liter of ZEOvit Zeolite is recommend for every 100 gallons (net) of water.

Research

I started with about 30% in a mesh bag, my anemone closed up tight and the skimmer went crazy. I removed it after an half hour and everything returned to normal quickly. I did some research and found that starting with 10% is recommended. Not sure if it works or not yet.

German's at work!

Like almost all German made aquarium products sold in the USA, the engineering and construction are great, but the instructions are very poor, illustrations with labeling are few to none, and the user can be left scratching their head on how to set up and make adjustments.

ZEOvit ZEOlite

I use this with the NextReef MR-1 reactor. Do not have a lot of experience with media reactors but can say it takes some load off the skimmer. My ORP is around 400 all the time and part of the day will drop to 375 but then back up it goes. Have a 75 gallon reef with mature fish I raised years ago. King angel, purple tang, marine grouper, large starfish, domino damnsel, snails. The Reactor came with a 132 g/hr pump and seems to even more stabelize readings. I also added some high capacity ceramic bio rings to top off the reactor due to 1 litre not being enough for that reactor.
