Comments: By far the best thing i have bought for my 55 gallon corner tank. My nitrates in my tank were over 100 ppm and after 4 weeks down to 0. Unbelievable!!!!! should of bought this before i bought the aquarium, maybe id still have all my fish and corals that died. After 1 week effluent was 0, turned it up to almost a steady stream and nitrates stayed at 0. Happy dance time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Excellent product. It lacks clear instructions, but you can get help from forums. I installed it initially on my 75 gallon reef aquarium when I lived in Alabama 2 years ago. My nitrates went from 40 to 2 ppm in about 14 days. Now I moved to North Carolina and I had to install it to my new 155 gallon aquarium. It works as good as in the first aquarium. Takes some knowing of sulfur reduction cycle, but you can find that information at the forums from reef clubs. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The Nitrates in my tank climbed to between 40 - 80 and I needed to correct this some how for the long term - and quickly. I've tried water changes and it helped a little, but still not completely or acceptable. I installed the Bio-Denitrator per instructions and now see the effluent of the Bio-Denitrator at 0 (after just a couple days). The Nitrates in the tank are slowly coming down and after a week I am approaching 20 in the tank on a staedy decline. This seems to be a well built product that is performing as advertised so far (install per directions). I anticipate this will be a long term solution. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Worked as advertised started to get great results in one week. Directions lack but once you get the concept it is easy to set up. Always had high nitrates 50+ppm even after many water changes. I can see after a week that the outlet is producing 0ppm. Also Korallin has the best build quality came with nothing flimsy A+++! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Por meses he estado peleando con los nitratos, luego de leer y ver peceras con este sistema me decidi. Mi pecera es una de 55 galones pero tiene bastantes peces( globos, leon, meros) que generan desperdicios. Me tomo dos meses para ajustar el reactor, y con la desesperacion pense que hasta no funcionaba pero en 8 semanas hizo el milagro. Lo recomiendo para un sistema de solo peces y que generen bastante nitrato. Que viva Alemania!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i like this product its easy to use and under stand and it stops my water changes Some pro's i'v noticed is it is easy to set up and use just need to be patients for bacteria to grow, my nitrates have went from 80 to 40 in one month with a big load of fish and corals. Some Con's iv noticed are you have to maintain it every day letting one inch of air out of the top (its from the bacteria) so your pumps keep running. I made the inlet line from 9 feet to 20 feet, it helped get rid of oxygen for the bacteria to grow faster. This product is easy to maintain but the instructions are kind of confusing read blogs to help Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Have both Korallin calcium reactor 3002 and Korallin biodenitrator 3002 on a 120gallon reef tank. Excuisite piece of equipment, unmatched build quiality and performance of both units. Have used numerous other similar units but nothing comes close to the Korallins. If you are serious about reefkeeping, this is the type of product you should be looking for. Have had no problems with leaks, and despite the very lacking instructions that come with the unit, setup is straight forward. Maintenance of this product also seems quite straight forward. I am very pleased. To get the most out of this unit, a dedicated feedpump is a must. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Loving my bio-denitrator by Nate

Comments: What a great device. Very small footprint (~6in square) inside my stand where I have my sump and fuge. 180g reef display tank. Couldn't get my nitrates below 15-20 with other approaches, and would frequently spike above that level. Have a lot of rock as well as a deep sand bed in my fuge - 37g) and decided to take the plunge with the bio-denitrator instead of dealing with chemicals or typical media. 6 weeks in, my nitrates are now around 10 and dropping. Lot of trial and error tuning the flow rate as the bacteria colonization ramped up. Great product. Solid and sturdy. Expensive way to solve the problem, but one that should take care of it for the long term. Especially good if you don't have much room to work with. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: First week up and effluent in tank with 30 ppm NItrate is 0. I realize I have three weeks to go until I can have a full colonized unit. Agree with everyone here - instructions need a great deal of improvement. So far - everything is working great. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: WHEN I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT THE DIRECTIONS WERE NOT GOOD AT ALL IN HOOKING IT UP!!!! BUT ONCE I GOT IT ALL PUT TOGETHER AND RUNNING I WAS EXCITED....I WAITED AND WAITED, 1 WEEK WENT BUY AND NOTHING NITRATES WERE STILL AT 60 PPM, WEEK TWO NITRATES DROPPED TO 30 PPM....:) THEN WEEK 3 NITRATES DROPPED TO 5 PPM EXCELLENT!!! NOW IN 3 1/2 WEEKS NITRATES ARE AT ZERO AND THATS THE TRUTH!! WHEN I FIRST READ ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND CUSTOMERS SAYING THAT THEIR NITRATES DROPPED AND THAT THIS PRODUCT REALLY WORKS I WAS KINDA SCARED TO TRY THIS DENITRATOR CAUSE YA ITS ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE BUT I WILL NEVER GO WITHOUT THIS ITEM..I LOVE IT TO DEATH...I HAVENT DONE A WATER CHANGE IN ABOUT 1 MONTH AND MY TANK IS A 50 GALLON REEF TANK AND LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!!! MY WORD OF ADVICE IS, GET IT DONT HESITATE, LET THE DENITRATOR DO ITS WORK!!!!! 2 THUMBS UP :) Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The Korallin BioDenitrator is a sturdy well made piece of equipment. It assembled well and hose connections are excellent and not likely to leak. Everything needed came with the setup. The directions left something to be desired. There are no assembly drawings and the instructions mix in some German words for input, output and bleed valves. Despite this assembly was intuitive and done with no problems. I have only had it a few weeks and have cut my Nitrate in half even before completely colonized with bacteria Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I agree that the instructions are not very clear. Picture will help in assembling. In my 75g reef aquarium my nitrates were 40ppm and they were reduced to 2ppm in 18 days! I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is the best product. I try almost everything to remove NO3 but this is the only product that really work. I have 125G tank with 100ppm NO3, using BioDenitratior about 2 month now my NO3 is "ZERO Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent to reduce Nitrates by George

Comments: Although I don't have very high levels of Nitrates(usually between 10-20ppm), I was able to reduce my nitrate levels down to 2ppm in one week. 1 negative thing: very difficult assembling instructions. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
