Manufacturer Info

Marine Depot was started in 1998 by a self-professed reef geek and premed student Ken Wong. Ken envisioned a one-stop shop where customers could find everything they needed, from technical product specifications, reef aquarium information, expert advice on the hobby and friendly one-on-one customer support. Having grown from a one-man crew to being one of the world’s largest suppliers of reef and marine aquarium products, this very core philosophy still lives strong in the Marine Depot culture 17 years later.

“Waste of time”
1.0

Clogs within hours. Wish I had tested it when I first got it. Now it's too late to return. Very poor design and total waste of money.

“Great Unit”
4.0

Purchased the Dual Reactor and aside from the mounting bracket being a bit flimsy I am very pleased. Use both chambers for Chemi-pure elite and have had no clogging issues as I removed the micron pads. I am running the MJ 1200 and the unit is located in a closet with about 15 ft of 1/2" JG tu...Read More

“needs work”
1.0

Good quality, very well built, but couldn't move any water through it. I hooked up a 600 GPH pump to it, and still couldn't get any water to come out. to many micron filters for the water to pass through. Removed as many as I could, but still didn't work right.

“Nice idea”
1.0

Got this as a gift which was cool. Its a nice idea but didn't work out for me. There were a variety of things that made this difficult to use but deal killer was the felt pads clogged within minutes of turning the reactor on. I tried rinsing them out but it didnt work.

“You will regret it... I do....”
1.0

Very disappointed in this product. I bought a triple reactor but decided to only use GFO in 2 chambers and feed by a 900 GPH pump. At first everything leaked, so seal it all up with plumber's tape. A week later, I noticed there was hardly any water coming out and the media was not moving at all. ...Read More
