I had metal halide and actinic on my 160 gallon tank and decided to purchase the Maxspect R420R Razor after doing some research. I fitted to the tank with the stand provided and easily setup custom lighting periods. The corals popped with color and the tank has never looked better. Extremely happy with the purchase.

Very happy with this fixture...corals have responded favorably. Didn't realize that the controller automatically ramps up and down from the settings you select...best dawn dusk feature I've owned.

This light packs a lot of par. It is easy to set up and control. The best part is that it come with two hanging options. You do not have pay over $100 just for brackets. The light is perfect on my Innovative Marine 38 tank.

Light is easy to program and corals love it. If you mount with the included legs on a 48 inch 90 there will be a dim spot with two of the 120's in the middle of your tamk not a big deal for low light corals. It really needs to be 7 or more inches off water surface to cover it. It does cover the corners though. Grat and easy light.

I needed an LED that could be mounted without a hanging kit since the room where I have my tank has vaulted ceilings. This light comes with a mounting bracket that allows it to be held securely across the top of the tank. It also comes with a hanging kit just in case you change your mind in the future.
As far as the operation of the light, it is very simple. There are 2 preprogrammed modes for daytime lighting, or you can program the light yourself. The lunar LED frature looks cool as well. You get a slow steady "ramp up" to daylight and then it slowly dims over several hours to nightime actinics so that the fish hardly notice. My corals seem to pop with the 16,000K light and the colors have never looked so vibrant.
For the price, I don't think that I could have found a similar light with the features that I want and for such high quality. I highly recommend it.

Excellent very well made. Very sleek design. This is the third light fixture I have bought from Marine Depot and I am always pleased. Lights were easy to install I chose to hang them. I have a 75 gallon reef with the 27 inch maxspect over the tank and the light is more then enough. The light has to preset lighting settings or you can program your own cycle. I programmed my light cycle gradually increasing light over several weeks. These lights are bright!!! I have good coral extension I am very pleased great product. Shipping was very fast as I had a crisis when the t5 ballast gave out on me. came through fantastic customer service.

The lighting really bring out my tank
The only question I had on this was the heat fans never turn on. First I thought that the fans didn't work. so I called Marine Depot and they told me they will turn on once the fixture gets to a certain temperture. Haven't seen that but I trust them

The quality of this light is outstanding. It's well put together and extremely bright. I have one of these lights on a 90g corner bow front and it looks amazing. The light comes preset with a dusk to dawn setting or you can create your own settings. Very easy to navigate through the settings and create your own.
I would recommend this light.
