Mini-jet® aquarium pump combines exceptional pumping capacity with small size to fill a variety of requirements. Mini-Jet® pump is available in two models, each with an adjustable flow rate. Mini-Jet® aquarium pump can be completely submerged, making it the best choice to fit into sumps or reservoirs. The unique cord arrangement permits vertical installation in small compartments. Mini-Jet® can be used in reef aquariums to create water currents. It is ideal for small fountains or waterfalls. Suction cup support provides stable and silent operation. Comments: Great little pump, I use them for mixing water, water movement in a QT tank and my Auto Top Offs. Reasonably quiet, always start and bullet proof.

404 vs 606

Comments: I bought two Mini-jet® pumps: 404 and 606 models. The 404 model is really quite and perfect for a phosphate reactor or any low water flow applications. The 606 model is definitely more powerful but noticeably noisy. To compare: I have Rena XP2 canister filter and two Hydor Koralia nano 425 circulation pumps working in the same area and all make less noise than a single Mini-jet® 606 model. I had to stop using 606 pump because of its noise level but keep using 404 model.

Little pump is just perfect

Comments: I actually bought this little pump (the 606) for mixing my fresh saltwater I made up and it worked great until I needed a pump for my GFO reactor as the new Maxi-Jet 1200 that "was" recommended made way to much loud rattling noise. So I thought I'd try this little guy to see if it would do the job knowing already it was SUPER quiet. It worked AWESOME and I was surprised for the little size it is. I do recommend this little work horse. It's been a good and quiet pump for the 7 months I've already owned it.
