Broke

This truly would be a great product if it wasn't for the poor manufacturing. Glass is way too thin and broke in my hand installing in tank. Just like everyone else it broke at the U joint.

Brittle

I got this for my co2 system and I connected it to my regulator. I used silicone tubing and when I went to remove the diffuser the pipe cracked as I was trying to remove the tubing. I had this diffuser and the Mr.Aqua Bubble counter and they have now both cracked at the bend area of the glass. I don't know if it would make a difference to use the co2 tubing that is sold here but it is frustrating to have 15 dollars of glass crack in your hands when trying to take it out for maintenance. There were almost no directions at all. There were some in other languages though. I would avoid this if you plan on actually taking moving it or disconnecting it. It did diffuse the co2 well before it broke. It seems that they put more money into the packaging than needed.

Nice glass piece but...

I thought I was getting the more elongated cylindrical style diffuser, however, the one in the package was the "beetle" style. It's more squat looking. It's not necessarily a bad thing. My only REAL complaint is that the suction cup that attaches directly to the body of the diffuser doesn't stick well at all. Every morning when my lights and co2 kick on with the timers I have set, the diffuser is floating about the tank all willy nilly. Suppose I'll have to either silicone it to the wall of the tank or find better suction cups. Otherwise, it's a nice glass piece!

Great

It defuses CO2 in to tiny bubbles, solid build quality. Recommended.

Pretty good for the price

I was looking for something that works well, but is astetically pleasing and easy to hide. I don't have a cannister filter so the external reactor wouldn't work. I used a Hydor Ario and that thing is bulky and hard to bury in the gravel (the newer ones have better bases)... Honestly i have a beautiful planted tank and I don't want any machinery visible in the tank... I compared this to the ones from ADA - they are a bit nicer, but not worth 3-4 times the cost considering this thing isn't visible and is buried under 24" of water... The bubbles are very fine and dissipate for the most part into the water column - my drop checker turned green in approx. an hour - I have a 30 gallon x-high with a 1bps injection.

awesome

great little diffuser! small and inconspicuous in the tank, but still more than adequate at diffusing co2 to a fine mist. also, i love that it comes with the u-shape pipe, it helps keep the diffuser in place and prevent it from floating around since im unable to use suction cups on my decorated cork background.

Great Buy!!

The diffuser comes with a "J" shaped pipe and 3 suction cups. The glass is clear and well made, and the diffuser diffuses out tiny CO2 bubbles, which is really neat to watch. To connect the J pipe to the diffuser, you’ll need a small piece of airline tubing. The suction cups work quite well, and is made of all rubber (including the part that holds the pipe). I think this would go up against any ADA diffuser. Definitely a great buy!
