Neptune Systems AquaBus Lunar Simulator Information




The Lunar Simulator (LS) allows the AquaController to control and vary the intensity to a 2 to 5 LED module for a realistic moon cycle simulation. The LS uses high intensity LEDs with a wide angle lense (100+ degrees) to provide the best possible coverage.

The Lunar Simulator should be screwed onto a wall or cabinet in a dry location so that water damage is not possible.

Note: Neptune Controller is needed to be able to use the LED system.

Comments: Pro: Easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. Cons: Very small light, not cover enough space. I need 4 LEDs for my 90 gal. It is also a personal reference. Anyways, it is nice to have it, but it is not a high priority.

Comments: I waited on ordering this and I am glad I finally did. I can use this as the Lunar (Moon) Simulator as it was meant or I can run it for a certain amount of time. Either way nice and bright. I would recommend getting twice the amount of bulbs you are thinking and then just dim the lights down. Quick shipping I am very happy with this purchase

Comments: When the controlor is on the lights flicker a little, and the X10 hookup is kinda out dated compared to the usb style hookup the apex controller uses.

Comments: Used with the Aquacontroller Jr., the lunar simulator turns on and off with an intensity appropriate to the phase of the moon at your choice of lattitude and longitude. A fun toy, but probably not necessary at the top of your equipment list...
