Excellent!

WOW this Saves money by nomar

Comments: WOW this Saves money and time, i was going to buy separate light timers, and a light strip witch added to over $50 dollars, this thing controls up-to 12 devices, so really was easy to go this route. For timers alone i would have spent $80 for 8 timers, instead with this unit i have 8 timers and i have limit less CONTROL and programing to my imaginations ability. The fact that it allows you to alter the "programing" creates endless possibilities on what, when, and how it lights ,cools, heats, and alters water chemistry and movement/flow through your aquarium. All this for only $139 it almost feels like a freebee, especially when it replaces all those timers, cables, wave makers, temp and ph monitors, etc. It really is plug and play, with the default settings that give you everything a $2000 computer would do. But for me, I needed to customize to my detailed liking so took over 4hrs setting it up and working thru resetting entire thing to work flawlessly with my configuration. Init allowed me to retrieve all defaults if i screwed up. Not sure why it dont have a better manual, probably cuz its way to provide awesome product at an affordable price. Neptune rocks! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The Controller is great, easy to read Temp and PH readings, however the DC8 programing instructions are not that great. I had to have someone who has one come over and help me program it and I am a tecky person. Other than that great unit!! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have both and found that I like the ACjr bettter lol. Its easy to set up. Never read the directions. I plugged everything in. Started flipping the menu and it was easy. It also does more the RKE I found. Runs my Calcium reactor perfectly. The RKE did not. I will be selling the RKE on Ebay. Its half the price with DC8 included and serial port. RKE says so much is coming like net mod. but when? Just get the ACjr and save your self alot of money and time be done. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I love the ACJr. It has helped me keep my temps constant. within 0.3 degrees! And has controlled all my tank gadgets. Now all I need is the pH probe to keep my eye on it so my kalk/ATO does not go overboard... Anyways I could not have been happier with this product and for the price who can say, no? Not me! And neither will you if you get it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: For just a bit more than $200 you can replace all your timers, monitor and control the temp of your tank to an amazing degree, replace your ph monitor, replace your wave maker and so much more with a nice little box that mounts neatly into the cabinet. it really is a great deal when I think about how much I spent for all that stuff. Now I am kicking myself for not just biting the bullet and buying one years ago. the only complaint is that it doesn't come with the ph probe which tacks another $50 onto the price. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The AcJr is great. It was easy to set-up and controls my lights, fans, heater, and a wave maker for my pumps. It has an easy to read screen that shows what each item is doing. I still havent set up the ph probe yet but will be doing so within the month. Overall was a great product and easy to install. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: After going through 6 Coralife timers and the hassle of returning them/buying them, I decided to buy the AC jr with a DC8,DC4, temp and PH probe. WOW, I should have bought this unit yrs ago. These units are awesome. These units can control everything that you can imagine and hook it up to your PC. Trying to figure out how I can connect my wife to this unit. LOL These units have so many features, that I can not write about them all. I can only imagine the potential that the AC III Pro has. Great buy and you wont look back. Luna Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I installed this little unit about a week ago and overall pleased except for a few minor issues. First off, the factory clock setting on it was losing about 10 mins per day but I was able to adjust for that in the 'leap second' mode. The factory temperature setting was low by about 1.5 degrees but I was able to adjust for that in the 'temperature calibration' mode. The G8 is a nice feature altho be forewarned that using the A4 slots and A8 slots to power anything with a substantial draw will cause flickering. I realized this when I plugged a compact lighting fixture into A4 but after I moved it to A3, no problem. I paid $225 for the unit which seems like a good deal considering all of it's features and flexibility. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This thing works great but you need to order the serial cable with it,you need to update the firmware and you got to have the cable for that,bought my AC jr two weeks ago than a week to get it,started reprogramming screen went blank e-mailed Neptune,said firmware glitch,need update than had to order and wait another week to get cable but now it works great,and now there $55 cheaper than what I paid for mine. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: At first it was alittle hard to understand with hooking the dc8.After spending all night to figure the programing and mounting it finally looks clean.Outstanding peice of equipment.It actully works work koralia powerheads. Comments: Get this unit hooked up and been running for a couple of weeks. Things that may be worth noting: 1) If you run 2 or more Metal Halides (250W or more) you will need a HDC4 :) 2) If you used aqua lifer, this device will not be able to shut it off (lucky for me; it only pumped 10 gallons of Kalk into my sump) 3) It does not keep time accurrately; I know you can adjust it on the leap second. But it is PIA to mess with 4) The temp probe reading is off by a couple of degree These are minor issues, otherwise it works as advertised. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Very nice, works as intended simplifying many tasks. Did not realize it does not come with the serial cable which most places do not stock due to it being a rather archaic modem cable. Sold for 45.00 dollars through Neptune but can be found online for 15.00 dollars. Otherwise a must have piece of equipment for reef tanks. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Best controller I could find for price. Didn't need ORP ord conductivity control on top end units. NOTE defaults to control switches A1-A8 but can control upto 64 switches I would not recommend this product to my friends.
