They will eat but are very particular as to what size and type of frozen or prepared food they will consume. I decided to give this a try just to add some more variety to their diet. I didn't expect them acting like piranhas in a feeding frenzy. They love this stuff and will hunt it down if I decide to drop some in on the opposite side of the tank. It's the perfect size for them. I've heard some good reviews about this product and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
