OUTSTANDING

The MR1 Monster reactor is incredible.. Much better as a single unit with dual chambers, for stability, rather than 2 individual reactors. It's made well in a thick gauge acrylic that will take moderate abuse, bumps and bruises. The water capacity is a full 2 gallons. Running both chambers on 1 pump I did find you need MORE than the recommended 300GPH to get movement in both media. I'm using a 420 GPH pump, but by the time you hook up he hoses and the distance the water has to travel until it returns to the tank it decreases considerably.. Better to go bigger and use a flow regulator or ball valve. Its very easy to understand and set up even for a beginner like me.

FANTASTIC!

Wow, I was really blown away by the build quality of these reactors. Very easy setup, all parts and fittings included (except hose and pump). I filled them with media, hooked up the pump, and surprise, NO LEAKS! I am very happy with them (I bought two)

Great high quality reactor

This reactor is one of the best reactors I have seen. The quality is outstanding and everything works great. Don't bother getting any other reactor. This thing is huge, it has 2 large chambers and can accommodate almost any tank.

Exceptional Value

I have two of these reactors. One has GAC and the other has GFO. Both chambers on both reactors are aligned in series. Alot of cabability for my 400 gallon system. IMO, these reactors are of exceptional value. Priced very reasonable for the exceptional quality, appearance and ease of use. I have had the high priced Deltec and I much prefer Next Reef.

Great!!

I'm using one of these with GFO for phosphate and activated carbon. This reactor has a ton of room, and you can plumb the two chambers several different ways. Quality is outstanding - it looks awesome under my tank!
