Comments: Reactors appear to be the next great thing. Was very skeptical. Was in a situation where a Reactor was my only choice. Had to transfer the contents of a 75 gallon reef tank to de novo 60 gallon tank without life rock or skimmer. NextReef MR1 XL Media Reactor with 2 big bottles of lifeguard beads (plus Seachem Stability) quickly cycled and took the place of 100 pounds of live rock. Ammonium and Nitrites at zero. Using a deNitrafier for Nitrates.
