Ocean Nutrition Brown Algae Seaweed 10 Sheets
Information
Optimal food source for all species of Marine Tangs, Angels, Wrasses, Damsels, and some Butterfly Fish. Brown Marine algae is a nutritious supplement for all grazing fish, rich in vitamin C, and is 100% digestible.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION: Tear off a piece of seaweed approximately 2 inches by 3 inches (for the average 55 gallon community tank) and place in the aquarium using Feeding Frenzy Seaweed Clips, or attach seaweed to an aquarium rock using a rubber band or other practical technique. (Folding the seaweed piece prior to placement is recommended.) Allow fish to graze at their leisure. Any large seaweed pieces that break loose and float to the surface should be reattached. After six hours remove any uneaten seaweed. Brown Marine Algae is an excellent vacation food!
NUTRITIONAL COMBINATIONS: This product should be used as a supplement to other food sources. We strongly recommend Formula Frozen Foods (Formula One, Formula Two, Brine Shrimp Plus, Spirulina Formula) and Aqua Yums (Bloodworms, Brine Shrimp, Squid) from Ocean Nutrition.

My Lavendar Tang and Eibli Angel attack this seaweed more than any other kind. For immediate feedings I use this and the red version. When leaving on clip for all day grazing. I use the green variety. The former is softer and doesn't hold up well after introduction to the tank.

My issue with this product is that it turns in to a soft jello that makes it very hard to remove left over food....unlike the red or green product that holds together very well. My tang wasn't crazy about it either...but that's just one tang.

My fish didn't like this either. Once again they were all over the green but didn't like the red or brown seaweed at all.

Consistently the best food for your tangs I have used over the past 10 years. Great digestibility, helps maintain natural color of fish. I use the product daily for my tangs.

My fish are eating just about every type of seaweed I put in the tank. Green, red, brown whatever...they love it and I almost never feed anything else. My queen, blue face, majestic, emporator, tangs, wrasses and triggers all eat this rapidly. Sometimes a sheets is gone in minutes. The bellies are getting bigger and the fish are growing!

Comments:
I bought this algae specifically for a large and very hungry Naso Tang. She doesn't seem to like it any better than the next veggie but all the other fish in the tank from clowns to chromis absolutely love the stuff. If you have a lot of water flow it doesn't stay together for very long and pieces of it can end up all over the tank. The free algae clip it came with was a nice bonus.
