Excellent blend of flake food for your saltwater fish. I feed my fish a few different types of food, but have found that they like the taste of Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flakes best of any flake foods. They go nutz in a feeding frenzy for this quality food.

I have used Ocean Nutrition products for years, and have been very happy with their products. I usually feed a mixture of formula 1 and formula 2 flakes when I use flaked food. I recently bought a can of Reef Prime to try it out. As reported by other reviews this stuff floats! Even if it is pre-soaked most of it still floats. This would be acceptable for a freshwater fish food, but IMO not suitable for reefs. I tried pre-soaking the food and injecting it at the bottom of the tank via a turkey baster, even still most of the food shoots straight back up and right into the overflow. Will be going back to O.N.'s formula 1

I have been feeding my Fish with Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flake Food for a couple of years now and really like the health and color of my fish. I have to contribute the long life span and coloration to the ingredient's and quality of this product. I use the flakes daily in ehiem automatic feeder without any problems of getting jamb up.

for the last several years I've used both this Prime Reef and their Brine Shrimp Plus dry flake foods in a mixed hard/soft coral and heavy fish load 135 gallon tank.
The fish love it, and keeps my soft corals / anemones happy too!
Best buy for the buck for quick and easy food at a pinch in the morning and heavy pinch at night.

I feed Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flake Food to all my live stock in my 125 gallon Reef along with algae sheets, mysis shrimp, blood worms, and various others. My Tangs, mandarin, shrimp, clowns, cardinal fish, royal gramma, various snails, and a few others all love Ocean Nutrition Flake Food. I fed only algae sheets and Ocean Nutrition to my livestock up to the past few years, and all my critters have thrived and are still thriving. A high quality flake food with a high protein content!
