Comments: very impressed of how fast it brought my temp in check.altho was alil noisy but then again i assumed it would run dead silent.in other words not bad for this big monster in a slick outer shell,that doesnt have to turn on for long.i also liked the built-in outlet that programs a heater to plug in.in all,iam very happy with this product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This 1/4 chiller runs very quietly and cools very efficiently...runs less than our 1/10 even though it's on a considerably larger tank. Temperature display does appear to be about two degrees below the actual water temperature. All in all, this chiller is a quality piece of equipment for the saltwater hobbiest. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Great

Comments: I put this unit on a 60 gallon cube with a 400 watt MH. It cooled the tank down and kept it within 2 degrees of my setting. The unit is very quiet and is comparable to the hum of a medium sized tower fan when turned on. The setting of the unit is simple and the built in heater plug helps save space by not having to have a heater controller. The only thing that I don't like about the chiller is the two degree temperature difference in the setting. However, I believe that they built the unit to operate like this in order to prevent excessive cycling. My old chiller would operate + or - 1 degree but the heater and chiller would battle one another. The Oceanic unit, if set on 80, will start chilling on 82/83 and start heating at 78. If the AC is on in the house the temp stays between 78-80. If the AC is off the temp stays between 80 and 82. The efficiency of this unit will definitely help reduce my electric bill. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I CALL IT THE BIG CHILL BECAUSE WELL IT IS BIG AND MOST IMPORTANT IT SURE CHILLS. IT KEEPS MY 210 GAL NICE AND COOL. VERY VERY GOOD PRODUCT DOES THE JOB GREAT. I WILL TELL YOU THOUGH WHEN IT TURNS ON THE HEAT FROM THIS UNIT IS JUST WOW. I WONT HAVE TO PUT MY HEAT ON IN THE WINTER WITH THIS BABY. ANYWAY I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT GREAT INVESTMENT.....STEVEN NEW YAWK.... Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This chiller is great. It has an integrated heater control which means you can plug you can plug your heating element into the chiller. The unit is quiet and runs quickly to bring the water temperature in line. The tempurature control is very accurate. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I was amazed at how quiet this unit was for a 1/4hp power rating, and pleased by the design. The auxilliary heater connection that this can control is a nice feature. The blue digital display is a bit bright, but if you're looking for a chiller / night-light combo, this is the one for you! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
