Comments: I run bare bottom and put this on a closed loop for the length of a 125. Wow. It does make a big difference. Helps keep the bottom clean and what is left piles up in any dead spots for easy cleaning. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Have two hooked up to a Danner Mag-Drive 18 pump (1800gph rating), used as a return pump on a 90g "softy reef tank". The accelerated flow allows me to run the tank without added circulation pumps. Works very well, seems to push large amounts of water rather than a focused flow. Fish and corals all seem to like it. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Really nice product. Works great in my 55 gallon tank. It is very bulky. If you are concern on size I would try a different nozzle in 1/2". Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I ordered the 1/2" one; the threads were 1/2" however the lock line is 3/4" and the nozzle if over 1". It was really too large for my taste. On the other hand it was amazing how much flow was generated compared to the standard 1/2" lock line nozzle I had on the other outlet. Good product but hard to hide from view. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am happy with the quality and performance of this product. It is really big, and kind of defeats the purpose I had in mind of eliminating powerheads. They are more attractive than powerheads, but not smaller. The flow is increased by a lot and I use it with a scwd so I have been happy with the performance. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have a 40 gallon breeder and it delivers more flow than I want. It does what it is supposed to do, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a bigger tank. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Just purchased six of these for a 210 to help increase the flow which you would think I do not need since I am running a 3600 gal per hour external pump. I have six returns across the top of the tank and two returns at the bottom which are aimed towards the back center to keep things stirred up. I went to the accelerators since I needed just a little more current with all the returns I am using. They work as advertised, installed on the existing locling "Y" fitings without a problem and have increased the flow as I wanted. I am now able to back the pump down a touch which actually keeps the pump running a cooler and uses less power. Great product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I put this on the output of an Ehiem Classic 2217. I don't know if it increased the flow 400% but it did make a big difference. The links don't work with the standard loc-line fittings but the accelerator end will fit on them giving you more felixability than the three links that come with the unit. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This flow accelerator made a huge difference on my flow coming back from my sump. Much more turbulent, the surface water is almost choppy now... I'm driving it off an Eheim 1262 in a 36x18x16h tank, and the difference between regular loc-line round or flare nozzles is like night and day. Not a lot of extension to play with, and even though the threaded fitting is 1/2", the loc-line like flexible pieces seem to be more like 3/4". I'm going to need to drill a hole in the elbow within the overflow compartment for a plug to remove to break the siphon when turning off the return pump, because this nozzle needs to stay a few inches under the water surface. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This adductor really works on my 58 gal (36x18x20) reef tank. I was originally using 3/4 loc-line wye out to 4 nozzles in an attempt to create circulation with the return pump. Not even close to what is needed. Then 2 power heads (Aqua-Clear 70 and 30) and Hydor-Flo rotating deflectors were added in each corner. Much better, but still not quite... Then the FA-400 was added - it creates more flow than both those power heads and a HydorKoralia2 combined. It took a while to figure out where to aim it so as not to blast the substrate sand off the bottom! My only complaint is the limited swivel of the 3 links - 5 would allow full +/- 90 degree swing. As it is, only 45 deg either side of straight are possible. I'll try a 90 deg EL later, but seems that I've got plenty (perhaps too much?) current flowing now. My 20 gal (24x12x17) sump/refugium is plumbed with 1" overflow gravity drain and 3/4" return lines and uses an Eheim 1260 pump. BTW, Eheim pumps are fantastic stuff - I've run my 75 gal for >20 years on one, FW planted - SW FOWLR - FW planted! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This thing generates a lot more flow than I expected it to, and doesn't generate much more back-pressure than a 3/4" loc-tite. It's not even all that big, and with a black background it's not too notable. The amount of water this thing gets moving is amazing, and it generates a nice wide current. Definetly worth $15. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: They seem to work ok. I couldn't tell that it made too much of a difference, but there isn't anything in my tank except water so it's hard to tell. (just set it up). I took it off and replaced with original output tubes, because it made a suction noise due to it being to close to the top of the water. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Yes it does created more flow but it slowed down my return rate on my pump. also the ball and socket are not compatible with all-glass mega flow snap loc ball and socket lines. they are a very sloppy fit, also the flow accelerator lines are not long enough they are very short.So if you have built in overflow boxes you have to hard plumb a extention in order to wrap them around to get them were you want them, or just be creative. The ball and socket need to be about six inches long, not two inches long!!! I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: YES I TOTALLY AGREE IT INCREASES FLOW TREMENDOULSLY. BUT I DID NOTICE IT PUTS ALOT MORE STRAIN ON YOUR PUMP. CREATES ALOT OF BACKPRESURE AS IT HAS VERY SMALL OPENINGS. THINK ABOUT IT THIS WAY IT DOES THE SAME FUNCTION A HOSE DOES WHEN YOU BEND IT AT THE TIP ALOT FURTHER REACH BUT MORE PRESURE ON THE HOSE. SO IF YOU DONT MIND SHORTNING THE LIFE OF YOUR PUMP THEN YEAH GO FOR IT. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am giving this 4 stars because it isn't totally compatible with Loc-Line fittings. It does work well and will increase flow significantly. I ended up using only the accelerator and all the other fittings loc-line. It is a VERY tight fit on the loc-line but it works. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
