Polyp Lab

Although originally engineered for feeding the Goniopora genus, this product has been very well received in the hobby as an excellent food source for all filter feeding corals.

The particle size of Reef-roids is around 150-200 microns. This is THE perfect size for Goniopora to feed on. When using Reefroids, you will notice excellent polyp extension on all filter feeding corals. Zoanthids, Mushrooms and Ricordia will demonstrate a distinct feeding response. And with continued use, your filter feeding corals will experience faster growth and better colors.

Ingredients: Unlike many other "coral foods" on the market, Reef-roids is NOT made with processed fish meals or other ingredients that can rapidly degrade water quality. Reef-roids is a mixture of naturally occurring marine planktons including a specific species of zooplankton that is unique to our product.

Directions: For each 50G of your system volume, mix 1/2 teaspoon of Reef-roids with some water from your tank. Stir this mixture until it has completely dissolved. We highly recommend target feeding the paste to your corals using a syringe or turkey baster while circulation pumps are turned off. Otherwise, pour the paste in an area of high flow before turning off the in-tank circulation pumps.

One 2oz. container will feed a 50G tank for 3 months. (Estimate based on 2 feedings per week).

Guaranteed Analysis:, Crude Protein 60% min, Crude Lipid 20% min, Ash 6% max, Crude Fiber 8% max, Moisture 6% max, Astaxanthin 150-200 ppm.

REEF ROIDS!!!'

Simply put. Amazing product that all my coral and even inverts and fish react when I put it in my nano cube and or my 180 gallon reef. Target feed it to place in front of power head. It's worth every penny!!!!

Reef-Roids Review

Immediately saw a difference in my corals while feeding this product as well as after. Shortly after feeding, you could see that the corals (lps & soft) were robust. Most having better polyp extension the following day. Sps corals also seemed to respond well to the food. I would definately recommend Reef-Roids to anyone in the hobby. -MF

Corals loved it

I've only used it once so far but my corals seemed to love it. Zoas ate it up, had never really seen them react to anything. Saw the tentacles on my blue trumpets at feeding for the first time with this stuff. My Birdsnest went nuts as well, never seen a reaction like that. I can't attest to growth or benefit from a regimen of feeding this, but I will say the corals definitely like the flavor. Go easy on it though, I could see how it would be very easy to over feed and make a mess out of the water conditions.

Hungry, hungry Corals

The coral seem to love it. It's a little expensive until you figure how long a jar will last, don't know what the shelf life is. Turbo-charge it, mix it with some oysters, OOH-RAW.

Reef-Roids...

I alternate between dry and liquid foods for my corals and my corals seem to really respond to Reef-Roids. My Pink Lemonade Acro's polyp extension was really nice after target feeding it!! It's good stuff!!

Short Term Review

All of my corals do eat it, or seem to be eating it. It's hard to rate the product on the long term results as far as growth and color. I will rate again in one year when I have solid results to report.
