Puratek systems have been designed to achieve that, while reducing your systemfs impact on the environment by producing less waste water and lower energy consumption. Addition of a booster pump will reduce the waste water production by a great deal and also speeds the process of making water.

The frequent automatic back-flush feature will increase the life of the RO membrane while ensuring better water quality for longer time. On board microprocessor controller will make the unit fully automated, easy to use and more reliable. Comments: when researching for a ro/di this unit was not my first choice due to cost. But after looking at the features compared to the others I decided that it was a great choice. The booster pump alone makes this a great deal. I have only made 200 gallons so far but the waste water to ro water appears to be close to the rated 1:1.5. I am actually getter better than this at 1:1. I took two of my saltewater jugs and stuck the feed in one and the waste to the other. When I came back 30 mins later, the water levels were near identical! As far a quality of the water; the controller reads 0ppm but my hannah handheld meter reads 2ppm, more than acceptable. The only negative that i can comment on is I wish the unit came with a hose bib adaptor. If the specs only listed the parts that came with it I would have been able to order this as well and save me the time of searching for one. The other negative is that the meter/controller only reads the ro water and not the incoming supply water.

Comments: Unit comes pretty much assembled. Just screw on your canisters. Attach the incoming water hose, outlet house and plug it in! The hardware that came with did me know good. Only the 1/4 hoses. I used a peircing saddle. It was easier and faster. Unit is almost completely silent and runs at a ratio of 1:1.5 / 1:2. Depends on what tie of the day. Great Unit!
