This unit covers approximately 3 feet of tank but only measures 4 3/8 inches in length! It is extremely versatile and cost effective! R2 Solutions Moonlight tube is designed to produce a 120 by 60 degree illumination by utilizing extremely bright ultra blue LEDS.

Installation is a breeze.... simply use the included brackets and double sided tape to mount the unit then angle the moonlight as you desire.

Comments: These moon lights seem to do the job. I went with two on a 48" long 135 gal tank and the two LEDs cover the whole tank. I am pleased with the light thy put off allthough I recently installed them so I am still not sure about the longevity of them. he clips seem to hold them securely in place as well. Overall good product. The only thing I would change is to make them water proof, but as long as the clips hold them securely and they are installed correctly it should not be a problem.

Comments: i bought the 2 pack of these for my 120 and i would run them after my t5 shut down and they did the job just fine i also just bought some maxspect razors which the moonlight setting imo is a little to bright so i will continue to run this

Comments: Very bright, much more so than a stunner strip, and really makes the corals "pop". The wiring is simple however hiding them is a challenge. If you are looking to simply supplement your existing moonlight or add more blue to your tank these are a cheap, reliable solution.

Comments: I bought and installed the dual unit on my 150 gallon FOWLR three months ago. One each in each hood. They shined more than enough light when pointed straight down. As a scuba diver, I know what it should look like at night. I angled them back 45 degrees and they're perfect. Happy fish, happy me!

Comments: I have a 29g tank and ended up buying 3. It did light the whole tank up with one but it wasn't as bright as I wanted. My tank looks great at night now!

Comments: We recently purchased a 26 gallon bow front tank. I wanted a moonlight for it and this one is awesome! The hood that came with our tank has glass under its light, so I was able to put the moonlight beside it and the moonlight works perfectly without fear of falling in the tank. Shipping was on time and I would highly recomend this part and this company! The single moonlight illuminates our 24"x21"x15" and gives the room a nice atmosphere.
